Upon entering the store my friend and I was greeted by the staff. As we looked at the sunglasses one of the associates complimented my friend on her tattoo. As I stood in between ladies the associate then looks around me and begins to ask my friend could she help her get anything as if I wasn’t also a spending guest/customer in the store. I then approached a young gentleman on the sales floor, whom I’m assuming was a freelancer to ask for assistance with my purchase. As I got to the register to check out, my friend asked the cashier if the bronzer I was purchasing would be sold in darker shades as any point. The response from the cashier was unbelievable with a look of why would you ask that dumb question and responded with a “no”. after she caught herself from her response she then recovered it with a “well you never know what they will send.” As a professional makeup artist and former MAC artist I was appalled at the level of service I received. I have yet to open the product or try the samples as I’m contemplating returning them, and purchasing...
Read moreImagine taking your 60+ year old mother to get her a nice gift for her birthday(who is never into designer things) and Security gets called on you and your family as sooon almost right before we walked in the store. I guess a group of black women dressed nicely in heels and skirts are going to rob Chanel in broad daylight? The associate who called security acted like she didn’t and proceeded to help me greatly and gave me several compliments all the while she profiled me and my family before we ended up spending over $1k here. How disrespectful to judge people by the color of their skin and still con me to buying something when I didn’t know what was happening behind my back. My aunt was communicated to that they were so sorry but she never told us until we left and already got home. I guess black women can’t go into Chanel and afford to pay for things with their own money the way we were treated for our FIRST time here. Smh Chanel DO BETTER! All black people are not bad guys, this probably...
Read moreI will never EVER purchase anything from Chanel again. Purchased sunglasses and hydra beauty serum for my step daughter. Got home and she tried the sunglasses on ONCE and she didn’t like them so I tried to return them. Tyler, the manager/director informed me that they had been worn so he couldn’t return them. Mind you, I was well within the 14 day policy and had all the tags, ribbons, receipts…everything. I asked him, so you can’t purchase a gift for someone and they try them on? His response, they have to try on in the store. What store does that?!? I’ve always loved Chanel products but I’ve always purchased from Nordstrom. Not only will I not be shopping at Chanel, I will not buy any of their products anywhere!!! There are too many companies with better products and better...
