Apart from the objects beauty, these events can only be enhanced by the guide who will make that moment of personal achievement and triumph even more special. Our journey has led us to Sophia Tediashvili, countless times have we entered Mayors of Avalon, just to browse, and visit the (for us unatainable) timepiece, which would in our case be the “cherry” on our cake. Each and every time Sophia has made us feel welcome, and patiently answered every question that we had. This process was repeating over time, and every time we were strolling through Avalon, we would pop in, and every time Sophia with her attentivness and gloving personality would accomodate us. As you can imagine, we have visited the store countless times, never before purchased anything from Mayors, but that does not matter to Sophia, she knows how dreams are important to people, and how even for that brief moment she makes the dream is attainable. Life is unpredictable, it will surprise you, like it surprised us, all of a sudden the timepiece that was seen for the first time 3 years ago, on a screen in a country far, far away and having it, seemed like science fiction is suddenly attainable. Sophia went to the ends of the earth to accomodate us, her attentivness and genuine care for you, your dream, your expectations, your triumph is something that can only radiate from a naturally kind soul. This kind soul was the catalyst, that made our moment of triumph even more special. She made our spring, and as spring is symbolic with new begginings, she has helped our young family blossom, guiding us to attain our very own shun bun, which will be passed down through generations. As a watch enthusiast, a visit to a reputable jeweler like Mayors is always a pleasure. I recently stopped by their beautiful showroom at Avalon specifically to explore their watch collection. The store itself has an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for Browse high-end timepieces.

I was immediately greeted by a sales associate who was quite helpful and attentive. My primary interest was in their pre-owned selection, and she was kind enough to walk me through the various options they had in stock. I was impressed with the breadth of their collection, both in-store and what they showcased as available online. For anyone in the market, they certainly offer a robust inventory to choose from.

We also discussed the current state of the luxury watch market, and the associate was transparent about the well-known challenges of acquiring a new luxury watch. As most enthusiasts know, the demand since the pandemic has created significant waitlists, and she confirmed that getting a new model can indeed take a couple of years. Her honesty was appreciated and speaks to a knowledgeable staff.

The only slight hiccup in an otherwise positive experience was during the presentation of the watches. The associate seemed particularly keen on a specific model that, to my personal taste, felt a bit too feminine for what I was looking for. While she was enthusiastic, I felt she was trying to convince me on that particular piece rather than pivoting to other options that might have better suited my style. Of course, this is a subjective point, and what doesn't work for one person may be perfect for another.

My visit to Mayors at Avalon was overwhelmingly positive. The staff is knowledgeable, the selection is extensive, and they are upfront about the realities of the current watch market. While the sales approach could perhaps be a bit more tailored to individual tastes, I wouldn't hesitate to return. In March of this year, 2022, I actually called Mayors and the sales professional, Elena, answered the phone. I informed her of the item that I was interested in. She searched for the item and even sent a picture to me for verification. After confirming that they did indeed have the item in stock, we scheduled a time for me to visit the store. Upon my arrival, Elena greeted me with such professionalism and inviting spirit. She showed me the item that I was interested in and we both realized that I needed a smaller size. So, she processed the order for the appropriate size and informed me that it would be arriving within a couple weeks. Unbeknownst to both of us, this item was on back order. Elena, gave me a call to inform me of the news. She was honest with me and stated that it could possibly be 2 to 3 months before this item arrive. However, she did suggest that I had the option of just simply putting down a deposit until the item arrived. We agreed on this option. With that said, it did indeed take two months for the item to arrive but when it did, I received a phone call from Elena. I was very excited. I then visited the store again to pick up the item. Elena greeted me again in such a professional and warm way. She took the time to actually unveil the item to me, which gave me one of the best purchasing experiences. She even recommended taking pictures, which was nice. I must say that my purchasing experience with Elena was impeccable.
