Edit: my 3rd visit was a fail. Ordered via the Mobile app. Had modifiers. Ordered double meat. My sandwich meat was over steamed, barely any cheese on the shriveled meat and I did not get double meat. All my mods were correct. I contacted corporate and they stated someone from the restaurant would be in contact with me. Corporate sent a survey asking how they handled it. Well they never contacted me. Corporate stated they would reach back out to them. Still nothing. All I wanted was a refund for the double meat I didn't receive even though the whole sandwich was junk. The staff that day looked mad at the world as well. Completely different from my first 2 visits. Very unsatisfactory customer service.
I've only been to this location 2xs but both times the food was delicious and service was friendly. First time was a free med hook n ladder from T-Mobile which was awesome and made correctly. We ate in. The place was clean and tidy. Today 6/2/23 @1:17 pm I did a mobile order. The gentleman who prepared my order was so polite when I said I was a mobile order and made my sandwich and special requests perfectly. The sandwich was even done early and I only waited a couple minutes. It was sooo delicious. It was a double meat large NYSteamer with lettuce, onion, and banana pprs on the side. The food seems to be correct, and the bags are well packed, but not once has an order been ready within a 5-min period of Ready Time, and often can exceed 10-min. The workers absolutely put online orders (delivery OR pickup) aside for anyone in store. Drinks have not been provided any of the times I have come, and workers blatantly turned away from me when I spoke to them. On one particular occasion, I came inside and asked about the order. They said it would be about 10 min, so I waited outside. They then made 3 walk in orders before closing the store 10 minutes early. Read moreI'm a big fan of Firehouse Subs. Especially that Engineer sub sandwich! This location has always had friendly workers when I've been there. Sometimes there have been some long waits, but you can only make these hot subs so fast -- and they get really busy.
My only really complaint is pretty minor, and may be a "franchise-wide" issue? But I've always tried to earn points with purchases and tracked them in their app on my phone. It used to be, any time I went into a Firehouse Subs, the PIN pad would ask for my phone number automatically to earn points.
