Was doing a pickup and right from the jump I got the stink look because I was interrupting someone's lunch or snack time. So I just walked outside to call Verizon directly and maybe get some type of help from them they contacted the store on my behalf and got the same and so did her supervisor to where they made their own complaint on top of my own and ever since then I have had nothing but issue after issue with everything pertaining to Verizon to the point where I am contemplating leaving and for some reason I decided to call that store to ask a question give them a chance to redeem their selves and that was a big mistake I am done with this company the one line after another to the point to where you have to take notes and I mean detailed notes and issues that should be resolved in no more than 36 hours turn into 6 months and over 60 pages of notes and now they don't want to fill an order for a promotion that was redeemed on April 18th they look for any excuse like back order or we have 30 days to fill the order 30 days was on May 5 th I received a text stating thank you for redeeming your 65 inch tv with location code and everything only to be told it was placed but not filled that was on April 29th and have been given 4 different arrival dates and still nothing this is more than ridiculous last issue took 6 months to resolve I was overcharged for equipment I ordered from the website price was to be adjusted upon receiving with a simple phone call to an agent that was the farthest thing from the truth took 6 months and now here I am trying to redeem a promotional item and basically getting the run around on getting it until it's to the the point of being timed out but this particular issue is with a lot of people not getting these tv's looks like it's time to leave and contact the proper State and Federal Agencies that handle these issues a person should not be treated like this and have to go through all of this as much as you pay a month to these...
Read moreI arrived at the store around 5:00 pm with my grandfather to return/exchange a phone he purchased last week. We were not greeted upon entry. I explained to the representative that my grandfather wanted to return the phone he purchased last week. Autumn (the representative) explained that the phone would have to be in perfect condition and that there would be a restock fee. I told her that was fine. The phone was in perfect condition and we would pay the $50 restock fee. She then pulled the phone out of the box and expressed that she wouldn’t be able to do the return bc she gets off at 6:00 pm and she’s not staying past closing to do the return. She also expressed that she didn’t know how to do the return. There was another representative there that expressed she knew how to do the return but that she couldn’t help bc she was technically off. They both continued to share inappropriate things regarding store operations but neither provided us with a service. Autumn was extremely rude and expressed that she was off the whole weekend and wouldn’t get the commission for this sell or for the exchange. We were asked to come back tomorrow or even Monday so that Autumn could get the commission for the sell. I would love to speak to a manager or someone who can help to resolve this issue. I genuinely hope this is not how your customers, especially your elderly customers are treated on a regular. My grandfather is almost 90 years old and he has significant issues walking. It took a lot to get him to the store today and your employees treated us very poorly. My hope is that you all train your employees to 1.) know how to operate daily services and 2.) to treat customers with dignity...
Read moreToday, 10-1-21, at 3 PM, I went to the Alton Verizon store due to a phone problem. I hoped to either get help or replace the phone. I understood having to wait half an hour while the customer ahead of me made a purchase. What I do not understand is why the only employee in the store did not acknowledge my presence once during that time, with a greeting and assurance she would help me as soon as she could. She acted as if I did not exist. Until today, I have always thought this store offered great service. After this incredible rudeness, I am having my husband remove my line from the family Verizon account and getting service elsewhere. Previously I experienced great customer service.
