Holy Cow you need to fire your cooks in the kitchen! I ordered the turkey dinner off the 55 plus menu. When the food came out the turkey was a very weird brown/orange color. It looked like the cook had taken fibers out of a 1970's shag carpet and put it on a plate and tried to pass it off as turkey!
When I sank my teeth into the fibers of the turkey I immediately questioned my decision making skills and my ability to be able to make good life choices! The turkey was completely rancid!
So , I love the servers there, I give them all a 5 star rating because they are friendly, kind and do their jobs with excellence! With that being said lets get back to talking turkey...
I quietly told the waitress the turkey was rancid. She told me she will have them make new turkey. Knowing that you cant just make new turkey....I told her I didn't want any more turkey so she took away my plate.
A few minutes later the manager comes out and told me the turkey was not rancid, it just was stored in the refrigerator next to pinaple that had been in the refrigerator a long time and had gotten over ripe and the turkey took on the taste of the over ripe pineapple (TRANSLATION: rotten pineapple). The manager then hands me a new plate with more "shag carpet" looking turkey on it... he then said: "this time we gave you our good turkey".
Needless to say it was the same turkey and it was also rancid! It was funny how the manager tried to say this time he gave me the good turkey....I dont think he understood that he was insinuating that they always try to serve expired food to keep food costs in line.
In all seriousness, my real concern is that this location is so slow that they serve expired food because they don't do enough business to keep their food rotating.
Please consider getting all new kitchen staff! The dining room in your restrurant is beautiful and has a great atmosphere and your waitresses are worthy of 5 stars and they represent your restaurant well! So you need to get your kitchen and your food to match the quality of the dining room and the dining room staff! If you do that you all would have people lining up to eat at your location.

Read moreI would really love to give a higher rating but unfortunately it seems management and service has been steadily declining. We came in for breakfast this Monday because Joe K’s (our usual breakfast spot) is closed in Monday. We noticed right away there was only one server running the whole restaurant. It wasn’t crazy busy but it ended up taking an hour just to get our food. Coffee wasn’t refilled and had to wait just for a second cup of coffee. Had to ask for silverware. And once the food showed up it was sub par. Overcooked chicken tinders and cool to the touch waffles. During our wait, at-least 3-4 tables got up and left out of frustration.
On top of this experience, the building is not being maintained with ceiling tiles missing, obvious roof leaks and a dirty bathroom.
Please consider doing some things to step up the experience especially on Monday and Tuesday when your going to be busy from Joe K’s being closed -staff more then 1 server to cover for no-shows or call-ins. If its not busy you can cut a server earlier -staff you kitchen! It should not take an hour for food -use a notepad when taking orders (I’m happy you can remember some things but you did have to come back and ask me 10 minutes later which means you did not put my order in) -Fix the issues with the building (leaking ceiling) This is a restaurant which should be up to code. I dont think that is. -Doing some simple tweaks such as these could probably go a long way in helping you to be more successful and get even...
Read moreIt was very quiet. Not like it used to be. They do have a new menu that brought back some of the old meals, making it worth it for us to return in future. On 8-11-23 OMG there was a server that seemed like she didn't want to be there. Our meal took forever to come out. We could see it sitting on there counter while the server took a personal call on her cellphone. Once I received my meal I went about preparing it to eat. I ordered a chicken fajita omelet. It comes with salsa and sour cream. Didn't get sour cream so asked for it while I poured the salsa. When I got done the smell of the SALSA hit me it was cocktail sauce, all over my omelet that was now ruined. I told her right away. She said she ordered another when she brought the sour cream. Ok pacified for now. I grab salt shaker for son well guess what it didn't work I opened it and eww. It was all wet inside. I grabbed 2 more off other tables all the same. My sons fries were dark brown. We gave up ate what we could and I got a to go box cause I was just done. We finally get bill and guess what kids eat free between 4 and 10 with adult entrée. She charged us plus she charged us for a chicken fajita omelet. I had to go outside so I didn't snap into a KAREN. My husband took care of everything.
