This place is SO adorable! Located in an old Victorian home. Much of the original ornate woodwork is still present. It's like going back in time with fun discoveries around every corner. We are here from Chicago visiting family for the holidays and found this hidden gem close to our hotel. Our son, who is three, had a great time at this place full of adventures. In the the arts and crafts room he was able to make cards and assemble pre-cut crafts. He was a veterinarian, scientist, musician, actor, and a pirate all in one visit. Quaint is the perfect name for this place. I enjoyed the adventures and oohed and awhed over the architecture. We spent about 3hrs there. There is a small gift shop and an eating area, so you can pack snacks or a lunch. The building is colorfully painted outside, so you shouldn't miss it. No allotted parking lot, but plenty of side street parking and an empty lot across the street. Please note, I did not notice any wheel chair accessibility. This is an old house so expect stairs- three floors and a basement. Great fun. Great adventure. Really responsibly priced. I would highly recommend for...

I’d give 0 stars if I could. The pictures online make this place look decent for a children’s museum in Altoona and it came highly recommended, but this place is NOT a place to take your children. I honestly don’t know how it’s still standing as a business. It is in an older house - so there are radiators in every room/hallway. These are on full blast and do not have any gates or anything around them to protect the children from touching them. There is one directly beside a “baby crawling area”. You pay 5$ a person to basically try to find a needle laying in one of the rooms. The toys look like they have never been cleaned since they hit the playrooms. This place is seriously awful. We were excited to go because online, it looks like a great place to go and I love the concept of all the rooms. But the bottom line is, it is a severe health and safety hazard for children. We walked in and immediately right out. There’s nothing but good reviews, so I don’t know what they’re paying these people to say that but I would NOT recommend taking...

This place was LOVELY lots to do for children 18 months +. I took my 11 month old here as it said it was baby friendly, however there is only a very small soft play area. So it would be nice if you had another child along with the baby.

However we still had an amazing time and spent over a hour there! I will say it is pretty outdated, but it is nostalgic. It could use a good clean though…there were many toys that were dirty and the walls and floors looked like they haven’t been cleaned it quiet some time. I think if they did a revamp but kept the same nostalgic feel it would be wonderful! Another side note: there isn’t much parking at all, so...
