Okay, first of all the Blonde Bombshell crew is amazing. Even if they weren't all mostly blondes they would be amazing. Emily and Haley are who I talked on the phone with most regarding the promo I entered and received! I applied for the couples portrait shoot with a credit of $1250 covering a photo session and a portrait. This company is so personal and truly every employer strived to make the experience enjoyable, memorable and professional. My husband and I were extremely impressed and moved by the work that they did in creating our portrait. Our photographer Shay (sorry about spelling if it's incorrect) made sure we were comfortable and also ourselves during the photo shoot. She made us laugh and the ultimate photo we chose was due to it being our true laugh smiles that were brought out by her and Emily. As we waited to speak with the the professional that would help us choose our portrait, we waited in a very elegant space with comfy seating and trivia cards that we went through. The whole space was elegant and classy but warm and welcoming as well. The space is also HUGE and impressive. Ugh I have mom brain and generally my memory just stinks but I believe the lovely human that helped us pick a portrait was named Erin? I could be totally wrong. Please correct me if you leave a comment!!! But she was AMAZING at her job and made sure we understood the mission that Dahlberg strives for their customers. We experienced a very personal and educational based decision, and considered things we never would have due to her knowledge and opinions. This year is our 5 year anniversary and this opportunity was something we never would have thought about doing for ourselves. Finding a place like this that is beyond elegant, personal and memorable for such a special event for us to celebrate was honestly a dream. I would and will 100% recommend this business to any and everyone who wants any sort of portrait. Kids, no kids, animals, anything. Do. It. You won't regret the experience or outcome that you receive. It was so spectacular I'll probably send a thank you card. Beginning to end was phenomenal and I truly don't have enough words. On top of the extremely amazing customer service, your portrait is edited by humans in Europe and made to look uber sharp just for you. They have so many options to add and make it all super enticing. Will probably make this a tradition for every anniversary milestone mark. Can't thank this crew enough and enjoyed talking with each and every...
Read moreRecently, my son and I were able to go through the entire experience at Dahlberg Portraits. I won a 14" portrait and photography session through a social media giveaway. The entire experience was smooth, Megan called me and made sure I knew everything that was expected beforehand, and they emailed me with information and a link to make sure that everything was communicated clearly and that I would be prepared for the session.
The day of, we arrived and spent a few minutes in their waiting room. The waiting room was simple, elegant and adorned with portraits of other families. There is plenty of space to get ready for any size of family with seating for 5 people. The session with the photographer Shae and assistant Erica was phenomenal. They made my son and I feel comfortable and made the photography session go by in the blink of an eye, and got some magical moments spurred by their great work, and personalities.
After the photography session, we went back to the waiting room and relaxed a bit while they got ready to show me photos from the session. Once they were ready, they came and got me and my son. My son went into a room with Claire who watched over my son while I was shown photos from our session. Claire did a wonderful job with my son, providing him attention, and making sure he had a good time while I was occupied. Even going above and beyond keeping an eye on him briefly after the session while I had some additional questions.
I then was walked through the best photos from the session, as well as educated on what makes a fine art portrait, well, fine art. They then helped me visualize what each size of portrait would look like, as well as help me choose my favorite photos from the session. They broke down the prices of each portrait size, as well as other things that come with each portrait size. They did a masterful job of helping me understand what came with each size, as well as working with my budget and where I was coming from while helping me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I look forward to receiving my portrait and having it as a cherished memory for myself and my son for the years to come! I am already planning on a return in the future to capture a snapshot of my family, and how it looks then after this experience.
If there is anyone I have forgotten in this, I apologize. You all were amazing and it was not just a highlight of my day, it was a highlight of my son's...
Read moreWe initially tried Dahlberg because we won a family portrait package from their Facebook page. My family had not been one to be huge on pictures getting done at an actual studio so I wasn't sure what to expect. Right after winning the package their staff reached out to get things set up. I was surprised with how much they wanted to get to know the family dynamic so to speak prior to us getting the photos, which was refreshing as it showed me they too wanted this to be as good of an experience as possible and not "just another family photo". When we arrived on the day of our session they greeted us with open arms and made us feel very comfortable as we waited in a very comfortable waiting area until the studio was set up for us. During the actual session my youngest daughter was just not feeling it, as many 3 year olds don't in unfamiliar territory, but they went above and beyond to make her as comfortable as possible and get us good pictures. After the photos were taken we went back into the waiting area while they prepared the initial viewing for us. Every picture they showed us was AMAZING and I wanted them all, however, they are on the pricey side of things (not so crazy that it was not warranted, but more than what most could likely get more than a few portraits made up) so I could not get all of them. In the end we picked a few of the favorites to get made into the portraits. They told us it would be roughly 8 weeks to get as they are sent over and done somewhere in Europe. We received them in the mail a few days ago and WOW! They are absolutely amazing and my wife said she just couldn't stop looking at them which I agree with. I would recommend them to ANYONE, even if you can't afford more than one it will be worth getting that one. I certainly plan on going back over time and getting works of art to show blips of time of what my little family was like. They manage to even capture emotions and almost attitudes in their portraits and it is...
