I'm about 3 months late with my review, but in December, I wanted a picture printed, and it was a print I bought a file of, if that makes sense, from Etsy. I tried to email it to the shop (from in the store with the assistance of an employee), but they couldn't open it because, since it was a file I ordered from Etsy to my email address, Etsy recognized it wasn't my email address trying to open it (which made sense). So the employee walked me over to their self-service ordering stations, which I had never seen before in the store, and walked me through the process (it would have taken me twice as long without her help since I had never used it). And this was while the shop was busy with other customers. The employee didn't make me feel rushed (or stupid for staring blankly at the self-service kiosk...I hadn't used one of those in yeeeears, and it was a more sophisticated program than ordering prints at Walmart, LOL), and she even multi-tasked by assisting the customer right next to me also self-ordering prints from the other available kiosk who also needed help. Read moreI rarely write a review, but I feel compelled to because I don't have much tolerance for horrible customer service. The owner was rude, dismissive, and defensive toward my complaint. The blame was completely placed on me, with no accountability taken by the business. The dispute could have been easily resolved if the owner was willing to swallow her pride and spend a few dollars (literally, only a few dollars).
It's a shame because I used to be a regular customer and would have recommended this business in the past.
Update: To address the owner's response, I requested and paid an invoice for the prints only (no shipping) the day after I wrote this review since I did owe the business for the prints. I told the business they can toss the prints.
I stand by what what I said in my initial review. I don't feel any differently. I also take issue with a lot of what the owner said in her response (plus leaving out facts that strongly support my view of the matter and hurt her case), but I'm going to stop here because there's no need to get in the weeds. I signed my maiden last name at the store and when I called to see if my order was ready I used my married last name. So, yes, there was a mix up of which I apologized for !!! The owner was SO rude to me when I came to pick up my order and said that I was "unkind" to her employee when I called. Actually her employee was rude to ME! She said that to me in front of other customers !! I have NEVER had a problem with any other store until this one.
