Shady business. Shady employees. Just as bad as thefts. Someone in my family found a stolen piece of property in their shop and provided the police and manager with the original police report and original receipt of sale WITH THE MATCHING SERIAL NUMBER...and they still refused to give the item back. The shop refused to even sell it back to the ORIGINAL OWNER for the price they paid, making him pay full price. Unnecessary. Unprofessional. They claim because the police dropped the ball on entering the serial number in the database, they can’t do what’s right and give it back. Doing the right thing is ALWAYS an option. They also deleted/reported several negative reviews from their Facebook page and had all of their friends/family give misleading and biased positive reviews. They have a score of D+ with the Better Business Bureau. Do your research and don’t give them your business. You still have the opportunity to make this right, EZ Pawn - I will happily remove my review...

When you Pawn your jewelry at EZ Pawnshop beware because they will steal your jewelry, they switch out your jewelry with something else that is not valued the same as what you Pawned with them, believe me I know it happened to me. I have something else that is ugly and cheap. But believe me I'm not done with them. I will see them in Court, I'm summiting my review on the EZ Pawnshop in Ames Iowa. It was a Wedding Ring Set. I will be taking them to Small Claims Court for the theft of my Rings and I will be seeking the full amount allowed. The receipt for my Rings doesn't match the rings that they said was mine. I have the Original receipt for my Beautiful Wedding Ring Set 💍 it describes my Wedding Ring Set and it was purchased from Zales Jewelry Store and I also have an Attorney, so what do you think about that...
