I’ve now had my 21 Malibu from Ace Motors for 9 months and it has been frustrating and expensive owning this thing. I should have known it when I mentioned the car being in an accident, because the front end is tilted downward a little bit. The employee that assisted me, Muir, ensured me that it was not in an accident and he gave me a clean car fax printout. Within the first month, the front bumper popped off. I noticed inside the bumper bracket there was some rubbery black goop that I guess they used to keep the bumper in place until they caught someone slipping. WELL, HERE I AM!!! It wasn’t long after I had the vehicle that I got a flat tire. Fortunately, I had AAA, so I called them the change my tire. Well, after jacking the car up and getting the tire off, he went to the trunk to get the spare tire, only, THERE WASN’T ONE!!!o Thank GOD that he didn’t use another call to tow me to the tire shop and also thank God that I had enough to purchase a tire at that moment. Wasn’t long before another tire went flat, and I only recently found the spare for it for $120, which I don’t have. Within the same period of time, I had been noticing irregularities with this vehicle. The backup camera and the display screen kept glitching and distorting, where you couldn’t make out any of the icons. Shortly after that, the check engine light came on. I went to AutoZone to have it scanned and the code said, exhaust intake air flow. Since then, the car has almost gotten me killed a few times because when I shift gears, it doesn’t move. I’ve almost gotten hit because it just sits there until it recognizes the gear. It also has an oil pan gasket leak that will cost me $180. This car won’t pass the inspection that I need for work, so I’m about to lose my job and the 29 failed codes, says that it will not pass a smog, due to emissions issues. After that, the car stopped starting, I would get in it to go to work and it would be completely dead. Try getting a jump from anyone nowadays. I finally found someone with jumpers, later that evening. It started right up with a jump. While it was dead, I could not access my belongings that had gotten locked inside the trunk. I guess it’s because the battery died, that’s crazy, there should be emergency access into the trunk. Since it seems like it was the transmission, I took it to a professional to have it scanned and checked. I was so pissed off when he gave me the printout with 29 failed codes. I am still trying to see if I can get someone to help with the repairs because I’m broke. My payments are $550 per month and I didn’t get any kind of warranty from them, so I’m on my own. This car may end up as a repo on my credit because I can’t work without a car. The car dies randomly, so I just decided to purchase a jump starter, AND BOY HAS IT EARNED ITS $80 back!!! DON’T PURCHASE ANY VEHICLES FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I got scammed and that’s not right. I will upload the pictures, later, where I have been keeping track of all this nonsense. The glitching cameras, the bumper that hangs off and you can obviously tell that the car was in an accident because the bumper repair guy, which quoted me $600, to replace the bumper and brackets that are broken. He stated that the bumper paint doesn’t match the color of the car. He also said that he could see the car had been wrecked before and he said it was tilted downward as well. You can see under the front of the hood a little bit, there shouldn’t be a gap there, IF IT WASN’T WRECKED. Don’t know what I’m going to do now, seems like I’m just screwed. I called the Chevy dealership but of course they said that there were no recalls on this car. These are the photos of the bumper that came off and the gap that you can see up under the hood. I knew that this car had been in an accident, I just didn’t know how bad until now. Lots of ELECTRICAL ISSUES, pulling my hair out.

I had an amazing experience with Ace Motors. I originally found the car I was looking at online and wanted to go check it out. Immediately as I got there they came out and helped me. Diana showed me a few cars at my request and I test drove the Malibu I wanted. They had no pressure for me to buy, I let them know I wasn't buying that day and they let me know a few financing options. The next day I came back to drive the car again and get more info, they were patient with me as I wanted to make sure it was everything I wanted. The manager came out and personally drove the car with me to go over any of the concerns I had and let me know if there were issues they could be resolved and gave me warranty and financing info. I came back a few days later after I had the proper funds and purchased the car. They went over everything individually to make sure I understood everything. They never made me feel pressured at all and resolved any questions I had. Diana did an amazing job with explaining and showing me the different cars. They put a little bow on my car and gave me a thank you gift. Honestly, I bought my first new car from a larger dealership and I had the worst experience. I'm glad I found Ace Motors :) Thank you to everyone there that made my experience the most amazing I've had at a dealership. I love my new car!

The cars they have there are nice. But the service you'll receive if u try an negotiate is not as nice. So if u aren't willing to pay what they are asking just be ready to be met with very rude tendencies, I almost couldn't make a deal over 300$ dollars because the lady was so set on a price even tho the car was sitting on the lot for almost a year. An then to top it off they promised a car wash, an a full take of gas. On top of the deal an promised price but to be petty they didnt wash it nor did the fill up the tank, and the cherry on top they wanted to add one cent to the agreed price. Just be careful and make sure u get it in writing what they promise And one other thing that I had to find out later they gave me all new tiers but at the expense of taking out 3 of the 4 tire pressure sensors. Update Aug 4th which is about 18days later I come to find out that they sold me the car with a battery that doesn't go with the car or is compatible with car

Complaint Description: Purchased vehicle 5/24/13. Have spent $911.09 in repairs. Transmission died 12/9/13, Ace worked on transmission 9/12/13. Bought the 1999 Audi A4 on May 24, 2013. Had car inspected before purchase, from mechanic down the road. Had car inspected at local oil change shop before taking a trip on June 25, 2013, topped off with oil. July 7, 2013 had to replace the spark plug wires for $387, out of state and stranded, also had oil change done. August 8, 2013 had issue and took it in had oil changed again at local oil change shop. The shop said had broken left CV Axle, dark trans fluid with oil leakage pinion seal on rear diff leaking. transfer case output shaft leaking. August 14, 2013 took car to back Ace they agree to fix these issues for $260. Got Car back September 12, 2013, they said they performed trans service, trans kit and replaced the CV axle. On October 10th the battery died, was $139 to replace and install. Had Oil change done at different local oil change shop November 11, 2013. I paid cashier s check $5,621.25. They charged me for DMV taxes/ registration, which never made it to the DMV. I received a bill from DMV and had to pay twice for registration. Ace sent me a refund check for a lesser amount. I never received the full refund from Ace.

Service is nice and friendly when shopping and buying the vehicle. I received personal cellphone numbers and a smile. When the vehicle started giving me trouble and I returned to Ace Motors, I received cold shoulder, and jokes about costs to repair.

When the transmission died, I was told Everything happens for a reason. Tried to sell the vehicle back to Ace, they wont buy back, even with the repairs, that says a lot about the...

I purchased a car here in August and had been requesting the lock on the tires ever since! I only received the lock a few days ago after pushing and pulling for it. I also have received a defective vehicle, as mentioned I have had the car since August and already had a check engine light. I was around LA when it came up, so I took it to the nearest mechanic who wrote the code and explained to me the issue. I asked him to turn off the light because it was beeping every five minutes to which he did and advised me to go back to the dealership and get this fixed and when I did take it early morning the next day and explained what happened they said it would take a whole day to fix which is understandable but before leaving I asked the short Hispanic guy up in front if they found the issue and he confirmed they did and it would be fixed and ready for pick up in the afternoon! Well to no ones surprise after reading other reviews it was not worked on at all and they said nothing was wrong with it. I was very frustrated because I lost a day of work when this result should not have taken an entire day. But that’s not what made me write this review it was actually the response I received upon pick up. Obviously I was very frustrated but the SHORT HISPANIC MAN had a mocking tone and when I asked if I was good to go he said “yeah unless you wanna stay here with me” and blew me a kiss?? GAG!!!!!! I would rather eat my foot before anything like that. But yeah save your money from this place but if you do decide to buy from here make sure you get the warranty and take it to a certified mechanic elsewhere DO NOT BRING IT TO SERVICE HERE. The warranty companies usually work with any certified mechanic’s that are open to working with them which most of them are. YOU DONT NEED TO COME HERE TO USE THE WARRANTY.!!!! SAVE YOUR TIME...
