During my travels in Thailand I would always order noodle soups at the small shops. Be it a mall in Bangkok or a small street vendor in Phuket, I was always craving the noodle soups. Here in the states most Thai restaurants serve the same stir fry or rice dishes. There are restaurants that serve noodle soups but they're a little more difficult to find. I've been looking for a place that offers both Boat Noodles and Tom Yum Noodles. I was delighted to find a hole in the wall spot in my area. It's a restaurant attached to a market. CASH ONLY! They do have an ATM in the building if you meed it. Employees all speak Thai and give a very authentic feel. They offer a wide variety of food but I only tried the Tom Yum Noodle Soup. Super tangy and spicy and filling. I sat there alone eating my hot bowl of soup surrounded by people speaking Thai. I felt a little lost and a little in awe. Brought me back to my travels. The market is also cash only. They have pre made Thai dessert there. A few snacks and spices and traditional tools used for cooking. I only had enough cash on me for my soup so I'll have to come back for some snacks from the market. Will definitely be back for the Boat Noodles and other dishes.

New review: Always a 1000+/10 experience. This is the OG spot to get real amazing Thai food. Owned by Thai Laos and their entire family is incredibly sweet. They have my favorite dishes you literally can't get anywhere!!! My current go to is raw shrimp salad... Just AHHH-FREAKIN-MAZING! They also have really good lunch prices where if you just need a quick meal, they got you! Literally everything here is still reasonably priced despite the rising prices of everything. Love this place with all my heart and tummy!!! Old review: This is where my mom and my grandparents go. My grandparents used to go here long time ago years. This is the Thai place to get authentic groceries- fresh, frozen, packaged, you name it. I love the family that owns it they're so sweet. And did I mention next door has the best Thai food in Orange county!! I really love this place it's right down the street from the 91. I'll always come back to this place to feel like I'm back home!!!

I’ve been many many years ago when I lived in the area, I’m glad to see that it is still around. My mom moved close to here so we went after our Massage a few doors down to buy some groceries. The restaurant/deli area is air-conditioned with a glass door separating both, asking you to keep the door closed. The grocery area is natural air. The downside is that everything is cash only so we had to watch our dollars. Got a few fresh items and then dry items plus Thai brooms from the grocery store. Highly recommend that you take your own bags. Convenient parking right in the front of the rundown strip mall. Small specialty shop so you can find your favorite Thai items you may not be able to get at the mainstream Asian markets.

I recently visited Thai and Lao Market in Anaheim, and it was a good experience. I ordered the Thai tea, Thai boat noodles, Lao sausage, sticky rice, green curry, and bamboo shoots with fish balls. they only accept cash! The Thai boat noodles were a bit sweeter than I prefer, and the Lao sausage was cold and not very seasoned, which was disappointing. The green curry was good, but I’ve definitely tasted better. However, the other dishes which were the bamboo shoots made up for it. The casual atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were friendly. With reasonable prices and generous portions, this place is a great option if you’re craving Thai or Lao cuisine, especially since it's conveniently located nearby.

The market is ok. The restaurant is possibly ok if you have no idea what real Thai food is. I live in Thailand. My wife is Thai. We visited here with some family wanting to eat Thai food after weeks of typical Cali fare, and ordered panang curry. What came out instead was very sweet peanut buttery soup, which was probably supposed to be mussaman curry. When we asked the lady about the panang in Thai, she just said "no have." She made no further mention of it, and we were charged for it in full... Which is actually as authentically Thai customer service as I have ever seen, so props for that. But food-wise? Stay away from the curry, and stay away from mystery meat.
