Goodwill Store — Attraction in Anderson

Not the best pricing on some very clearly damaged/ruined clothing items. The used clothing is starting to be on par with walmart's brand new clearance section so it's hard to justify buying used sometimes.

The dressing rooms are currently closed, and have been for quite some time now. I was told by an employee that if I wasn't sure if something was going to fit or not, I can always return it.

I thought, oh great! I can try them on at home and bought a few more things than I really wanted to buy thinking I'd try on what I liked and bring the rest back. Unfortunately only 1 of the items even fit. They were all a bit pricy, and while I did receive a refund .... it was forced on a gift card.

If you pay in cash or card, you will not receive a cash or card refund. You must accept a gift card.

Sometimes you will find a little treasure here for a steal, but most of the time it's overpriced and outdated junk.

Store is generally clean and the employees are very nice. :) Location gets busy and the parking lot isn't very well planned out entrance/exit wise. If the semi bringing in a trailer of donations is coming in or out, it's a mess.

I will never back to this store again , before I make payment , when my turn to the cashier I ask first what return policy and I ask again the refund will go to original payment or store credit , the cashier said back to credit card or original payment . So can back to original payment is fine for me , if go the store credit I will not spent much money , so I pay , and when at home I try my clothes and pants because they not provide fitting room or anything to try . So the next day I direct to return some clothes not fix me , it’s not even 24 hours , when I go to the cashier to return they said can’t refund to original payment , and I said before I pay I already ask about refund . And can go to credit card and they just don’t want hear you and give you the store credit card. This store credit I will not use it to buy anything from goodwill better I donated to homeless . Out if all the Goodwills I shop at Anderson has higher prices. It's not my favorite store, it seems like everytime I go in I am inconveniencing them. If you return something from another Goodwill, it's like they take it personally that you didn't buy it there. They inspect every detail of the tag and receipt. And, make sure you get your receipt back and if you have a customer reloadable card for returns , make sure you get it back too. They kept one of mine. I got out to the car and realized I didn't have it. Went back in to get it and conviently they didn't find it. It had close to a $40.00 credit and I lost every penny. So actually it's my last choice to look for something. I try and avoid it at all costs.
