Arboretum Nature Area — Attraction in Ann Arbor

It’s so pretty here!!! There are a ton of trails to wander and it’s a surprisingly large area for where it’s located. Even with as many people as there were there we still had a quiet hike! Great area for people watching, studying, picking, or just hiking!

I do recommend bringing a water bottle though, there’s only one fountain marked on the maps but we couldn’t find it. Parking was hell too though, but there’s a free parking structure (on the weekends) not too far away if the surrounding...

Love this place! Visiting these woods year round is a treat. Nature abounds, the peony garden is absolutely a sight to behold once all of the flowers are in full bloom. Find some public parking and walk right in, it's free to enter. The Huron river runs through the wooded area, a very scenic area especially during the peak of the autumn colors, also the river is very shallow where is runs through that part of the woods so it's a nice spot to dip your feet in or let your pet...

My first time coming here was to get baptized in the river and it was such an amazing experience! The King of Kings and Lord of Lords was def. present.
