Enjoyed a lovely visit at the Fuller pool today with my Grandson. I was really curious to see how social distancing & enhanced sterilization would work. They are doing a fantastic job! Sections of the pool & laps are used by individuals & families. Everyone worked well together to ensure proper distance. Lifeguards were wonderful ensuring all rules were followed and provided guidance when needed. I'm really impressed! Well definitely go back (if I can figure out the website reservation page). This is the only area I ran into snags. It showed no days available w/ open swim times, so I called. Reserved a time the very next morning. Read moreGreat park for kids! One side of the wooden playstructure at the playground is geared towards little ones and the other side is a lot taller and perfect for older kids. There's a semicircle path/boardwalk in the woods right behind the playground. You can use the bathrooms on the outside of the pool building and the snack machine and ice cream vending machine just inside the building!
Parking is free in the lot. It's also a short walk from here to Island Park which has another playground, a bunch of bridges, and the river. Lots of benches and picnic tables to snack at as well! The playground and trail are shaded and great to go to...
Read moreThe hidden secret here is the trail that goes over to Island Park. That's where all the real fun starts. However the fields at Fuller Park have the nicest turf, some of the nicest turf, that I've ever seen. It's very well taken care of. Additionally it's a pretty darn cool park in general. It's also I forgot to say, it has access to the river, I saw a canoeing, and people sitting in the water enjoying it. Apparently it's clean.
