Wonderful shop! • espresso : intricate, cheerful, and delicious, the level of care that went into this espresso is obvious. This colombian roast, layered with notes of sweet cranberry and strawberry, is roasted by @vertexcoffeeroasters owner which makes it even more special to enjoy. • delicious milk alternatives :) • @lamarzocco espresso machine • interior : beautiful collection of eclectic plants, colorful glasses, and artistic panache encapsulated into one cohesive miracle of simplistic interior design. marvelous glass walls create an openess tht both gives light and creates the illusion of bigger space. additionally the corner location lends the shop a unique shape wich allows for an entirely different and fun space • not currently open for indoor dining, however there is a beautiful outdoor patio with numerous tables • awesome staff and amazing service, the owner is delightful • vertex coffee uphold the strong values of sustainability, community, and quality and it is very evident in everything they do :) @vertexcoffeeroasters

Ordered a flat white; beautiful coffee! In terms of flavour and texture especially, one of the best in Ann Arbor that I've had so far. Atmosphere's very pleasant and clean, it's a nice harmony of open space and a cozy atmosphere, and (at least one of) the owners seem very friendly.

I recently applied for a job here along with the coffee purchase, but unfortunately I had to get to an appointment so I got takeaway. The coffee was genuinely very nice, so I felt that I should leave some positive feedback. :) There was a bit too much foam for a flat white, (I'd say it was more like a latte) but the texture was very creamy; milk was clearly mixed very well. This place has been on my list for awhile and I finally made it over before they closed! I got a simple iced latte that met expectations.

I also wanted to buy beans, but unfortunately they were sold out; I was told they roast on Mondays and it's best to order online. However, I asked the barista for a recommendation between two beans and was told I should just read the descriptions and decide which one suits me best. It's decent advice but I was hoping for an opinion or something to help me make a decision.

Overall, unless this place is convenient for you to get to, I can't see making a special trip here just to buy coffee. While their prepared coffee is okay, if you're looking to buy beans, it's best to do that online & the baristas may or may not be able to help you with any...
