We went kayaking early August and had terrible experience with the amount of unattended children hanging out near every cascade. The children were blocking and jumping in front of kayaks causing several kayaks to flip. I will not recommend anyone try kayaking when it’s hot and packed with kids. Children didn’t get hurt thankfully, we were scraped up from flipping over, pretty painful. They need to limit or have separate times for hundreds of unattended kids playing. There is no enforcement of alcohol and drugs, people swim and wade in the pools and right at the bottom of the waterfalls making it very dangerous for kayakers. Nobody ever moves out of the way when there is a boat coming down and kids are often unaccompanied.
