My wife and I have really come to appreciate the gin from A2DC. Their winter gin stacks up very nicely as a juniper-forward London dry gin. It's honestly the only gin we need.

Drinks at the tasting room are generally good. It can be a bit cramped inside during colder months, but when it's warm there are tables outside. In past years, there has been seating inside the actual distilling space, which was nice, but I haven't seen them open it up to the public recently.

Here's why I'm really writing this review. I would really encourage them to install a bike rack. It's pretty hard to justify not having one, especially in Ann Arbor where plenty of people ride bikes regularly. My wife and I rode our bikes recently and it was frustrating not to have an area to put them. Please consider installing...

Small bar area, super cute decor and chill atmosphere. Can't say much about the cocktails, as we mainly went to taste test the gin before buying a bottle. The winter gin tastes a bit like biting a pine tree - good, but a little too much spruce for me. Spring was just too subtle with the florals and came off very sharp and burny. Fall was basically just bourbon lite. Summer was just perfect. Well balanced botanicals and a strong juniper note with just a touch of hay in the finish. Tastes like a country...

I couldn't be more humiliated and disappointed w/ the experience I had @ this place. My friend and myself after attending the Michigan Spring football game had one drink that we sipped for an hour...and after we were told to leave. We could not have been more polite and agreeable. For the life of me I can't understand why we were denied service? This was @ 9:00 p.m. Saturday night. I will never go back and I will tell all my friends and family to never frequent this...

Always love my time here! They currently have options to sit by a fire pit OR under a tent with heaters (both ends of the tent are open for air flow). Seats are all well spread apart for COVID safety. Their choices of seasonal drinks never disappoint! The cranberry whiskey sour was absolutely delightful and how can you resist a hot toddy in this weather? Plus they offer trials of their various liquor, all made in house! And the staff is super nice. Definitely would recommend.

Our favorite neighborhood joint. This is still kind of a hidden gem, which makes me hesitant to share how awesome it is, but it would be a disservice not to share the love. The staff is always friendly and the drinks are always delicious. There's a cozy/intimate tasting room that can probably seat 10-15 comfortably, with room to expand outside when the weather is nice. Also, live music on weekend nights! It doesn't get much better.

Low-key one of the best bars in Ann Arbor. With the understanding that it's primarily a gin bar, and doesn't serve food (apart from food trucks), it is nearly unbeatable for quality of cocktails or atmosphere. It's far enough off of Main it is a bit of a hidden gem, with a small, rustic, intimate feel that few bars here match. Staff is always knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.
