Wheeler Park — Attraction in Ann Arbor

Fun little park near the train station in Ann Arbor. I came to sit on the picnic benches, under the shelter to have lunch on a weekend (there are 3 benches there). It seems like a good place to bring kids - there is a medium sized playground. There is also a basketball court which didn't seem too busy when I was there! Looks like the city of Ann Arbor takes care to keep it clean because when I was there, a staff member was going around...

This is a great park to take your kids to! There's a small playground area, a pavilion, some basketball courts, and a small track. Everything is very well maintained and clean. However, when the sun goes down, some people use the pavilion to smoke weed and drink alcohol - so if you don't want your kids around that, I would advise visiting the park...

Nice park near downtown. It has a playground my children used to like, a basketball court, bike/walking path. It even has bathrooms. It's small but holds a lot of activities. It's across the street from the new tunnel under the railroad tracks that leads to the path along the river, the cascades tubing site, canoe livery, etc. Ann Arbor has such...
