MARK D ZAHN — Attraction in Ann Arbor

I have been a patient in Dr Zahn's practice for the last two plus years. I presented with a pretty complicated medical history and somewhat catastrophic Dental issues. I have had several teeth extracted and at least 4 implants. Dr Zahn and his staff have been very professional, compassionate, efficient and I have had a really excellent result. I have had very little pain even with the extractions. It seems to me that he is a very careful surgeon and treats the tissues with respect and gentleness. He has a great support staff and also the front desk is top notch. Billing has been transparent and efficient. I always felt safe in his office and it is pleasant and comfortable as well. The staff makes sure everyone gets in on time. The front still desk people are especially good and have treated me like a valuable patient. You can't go wrong...

Referred here by our orthodontist which we are super happy with. Called to set the appointment and receptionist completely rude and unprofessional. Yelled at me she couldn't hear me so I spoke slightly slower and louder then she yelled at me " I am not stupid". I was completely shocked and said excuse me? What? Then she said " you are talking to me like I am an idiot". I responded with I am sorry, are you serious? I tried talking with another office person and met with the same issue. Immediately called our orthodontist and asked for a different referral and explained what happened and orthodontist apologized and was completely at a lost of words. He gladly gave us a different referral. Terrible customer service. If referred here avoid at all cost, don't reward bad...

I first had a consultation about gum recession and really appreciated that Dr. Zahn asked a number of questions, clearly covered with me what work that was necessary for the health of my mouth versus aesthetic work and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. He was also really great about letting me give input as to how much work I could handle in one visit. I then had gum grafting done here and was very pleased with how the procedure went and how gentle and concerned about my comfort they were during the surgery.
