Read moreVery disappointed with U-go's and Quiznos. There is speak of the Michigan difference at the professional level, but there doesn't seem to be any at the student level, i.e. student employees. Yes they may be temps, but they are the future professionals, and teaching them a little about customer service will help them and help customers.
Let's not forget that customers aren't just the people who are buying your product, but a customer is anyone an employee deals with: coworkers etc.
There are some friendly people who work at these two places, but there are some very rude people who's job ends...
Read moreNothing special about this place. Fireside is a nice place to study and get overpriced food, but the first floor is pretty dingey and uncomfortable. On top of that, the kitchens aren't designed too well, because the smell of all the food seeps from one restaurant to the other. This never happened when the Union basement was open. On top of all this, it's by far the worst union on campus and in dire need of a renovation on the bottom two floors.
