The Little Seedling — Attraction in Ann Arbor

The staff at the Little Seedling has gone above and beyond for us during our hunt for the perfect stroller and infant car seat combo. There are so many options out there it can be confusing! My husband and I live in Grand Rapids but when we were around Ann Arbor one weekend, we decided to make the trip to the Little Seedling to look at Uppababy and Nuna combos. The LS is one of two stores in the state the carry the Nuna brand (the other store is Nordstrom but we like supporting small local businesses!) and we wanted to see it before making a decision. When you're spending that much on baby gear you want to make sure the quality is there. We decided to go with the Nuna brand and put it on our baby shower registry. They have worked with us every step of the way to let us know when the car seat is shipping and ordering the stroller in the color we wanted. There has been a lot of back and forth with our transaction but I'd do it all over again because their customer service is so wonderful. There are a lot of big box stores that offer baby items but we'll choose to support the Little Seedling whenever we can with larger purchases because they truly care about their customers. I could go on and on with how happy we've been with this purchase so whether you're in Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, or somewhere else in the country, give them a chance to earn your business and you'll be happy you did! (The rewards program isn't something we'll be able to take advantage of seeing as how we don't live in Ann Arbor, but that wasn't my intention going into...

I just have to write a review about this wonderful shop, even though I’ve never been there in person. We live in Chicago and I was searching all over for a certain Easter basket for our child, and I found it on their website. Their website gave a text messaging number to contact so I decided to text it, not knowing if/when I would hear from someone since I don’t know anything about this shop and didn’t know what to expect. I was so pleasantly surprised when I heard back from someone named Alicia on text within THREE minutes!

She confirmed the item I was looking for was in stock. The website gave two size options, but didn’t give a place to choose, so I asked her about the size we needed and she confirmed they had it.

I placed an order on the website and they had the package shipped out in the mail right away the next day. It arrived very quickly in Chicago and it’s the correct basket in the correct size!

I was blown away by the communication and Customer Service, as well as the accuracy with everything. Highly recommended, even if you are not local to their shop. The online ordering and texting for assistance was a great experience.

Thank you so much for giving that personalized attention and detail that so many other places seem to lack nowadays.

I should have written this review over a year ago when I was pregnant. I’ve worked in customer service for over a decade, and the service TLS provides is second to none. The Little Seedling is a gem of a shop, whose employees go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of and are leaving with exactly what you came in for—even if it’s just an answer to a question or reassurance that you’re doing great as a parent. Their team has saved me on a number of occasions, and I know I can always trust their knowledge and expertise. Whether it was Marie, taking the time to bring me the right diaper insert after I left with the wrong one; Annie, taking the time to walk us through every step of getting to know our car seat and how to install it; Marion, helping us figure out how to properly put our newborn in our carrier; or Molly, answering every single question my husband and I had about every single car seat AND stroller, their employees are there to serve and ultimately make life as a parent easier and a little brighter.
