Here is my honest review. It’s okay. PROs: -It’s a new store, and it just opened yesterday. -It makes the neighborhood look good, and it’s a good sign for further property value increase for homeowners in the area. -It is a cross between traders joes, starter bros, and food4less, which means you get a little of everything, but not everything if you get what I mean. -They have some organic items. -Some, and only some, of the staff members are nice, some of these staff members would go out of their ways to help you. -They have some interesting snacks, frozen food, and prepackaged food items like you would find in Trader Joe’s. -The side of the store is bigger than Trader Joe’s, and they have more selection of fresh produce than Trader Joe’s
CONs: -The size of the store is smaller than stater bros, and much smaller than food4less. -Even though they just opened yesterday, the store is already starting to look dirty. For example, their parking lot is already starting to look dirty, and some of their grocery baskets are starting to look dirty. -They have less produce quantity than regular grocery stores like food4less and stater bros. -They mislabel some of their items. For example, I payed for Japanese sweet potato, but ended up with American red sweet potatoes because they mislabeled them. -Some of their staff members are rude and obnoxious. I witnessed this from two Asian female staff members at different times on the same store visit occasion. I am not sure if they both identify as females, but they look female with one looking younger with long hair and the other looking older with what seems like short hair. -Like many grocery stores, just because they say they have items online does not mean they will have it in the store, so make sure to call them and ask.
My overall verdict, it’s okay, for occasional interesting snacks, pre packaged cooked and uncooked meals, and interesting frozen food, interesting frozen desserts, and random organic food lottery visits if you don’t want to drive to Trader Joe’s, if you don’t have a Costco card, or don’t want to drive to Costco. Apart from that, you will find everything you need, and you will also find things you will not find in this store at other regular grocery stores like stater bros and food4less. Don’t forget that regular grocery stores often have some organic selections too. I suggest visiting your city’s weekly farmers markets if you are looking for more fresh fruits and vegetables options. If you happen to run into an obnoxious staff member during your visit to the store, just ignore them. Look for a friendly staff member if you need help. In terms of price point, I did not notice any significant difference. However, places like food4less and ALDIs generally have cheaper prices; it depends on the items you buy and what they...
Read moreI am so glad and excited to finally have a sprouts in apple valley. They have such a great variety of produce and organic items that are fresh and item are extremely healthy. I was tired of driving down to Victorville just for the amazing deals. So once I heard they were opening one closer to me you can bet I was jumping out of my shoes! The workers are so nice and lovely, produce was amazing. The cashier that checked me out was lovely as well, Emelie G. She was extremely helpful on helping me sign up with rewards and explaining how they work. I can’t wait to go back and get lots of fresh food for a...
Read moreGreat visit and great selection. But pricier then your tradional market but it is a specialty store for the most part. I still find it odd that a health food store for the most part stocks so many " NON HEALTHY" items at higher prices then even WinCo or a normal market. So I make a list of my organic and speciality items only and try to only buy that at Sprouts. The team there are very kind and go out of their way to ensure you find what you need and answer questions. Still a great spot to shop even if youre being thrifty and efficient when in a...
