When I first walked in the door I was a little nervous as it seemed very expensive with the offers that were on the dry erase board. Then when I spoke to the server she did not seem very familiar with customer service. I asked about having this one roll change to not be spicy, she said that will be an upcharge. I said no I still want just mixed crab inside but not the spicy kind, she said it'll still be an upcharge. So I was immediately wanting to leave because it was not a good fit and connection for me. However the wife made me stay and I'm so glad she did. The food was amazing and to the right of the menu there was a menu with normal Sushi pricing on simple rolls like tempura shrimp roll, California rolls Etc, and they were all very well priced. Then they came to the table and it was delicious. The server did forget our garlic edamame and they wanted to bring it after we were already eating the sushi which we did not want come up but again I think that was just a server thing. The second server that ended up helping us was amazing. So great food great prices great service at the end. As a bonus they brought green tea ice cream with a chocolate drizzle at no charge that we didn't know anything about and that set the tone of this great review. It turned out to be amazing and we will be going back. We will just not pick the tall skinny server. Everything else was wonderful, even the sushi chefs in the back were friendly and made us feel welcome...

Went here for a birthday celebration. We have a party of nine, So not a huge party but not small either. The food was really good, however, The knowledge of the staff in regards to their menu was lacking. For example, our waitress could not answer simple questions about the marketplace price of several dishes, nor could she elaborate on questions about the fish. She did get the answers but she had to continuously leave to go ask somebody for answers to the questions we were asking. Once the entrees started coming out there was 20 minutes from the time that the first entree was served to the last. This meant that others had completely finished their meal by the time the final entree was placed at the table. I will say that their birthday celebration was very nice. They dimmed the lights, then brought out the A small board with a candle, nicely sliced mochi and cake. The entire restaurant sang to our birthday boy and girl. Overall not a bad experience but there is much room for improvement as far as service goes. We will definitely give them a try in the future.
