One of the coolest state parks you can visit in Arizona!!! This is the Yuma Territorial Prison, about 3 hours drive from Phoenix in Yuma, and it’s full of super interesting history of the Wild West in the 1800’s. You can walk through the old prison and see the cells of famous convicts! The dark cell was super eerie. The state park is set over the Colorado River so you can get a great view of Gateway Bridge which is also nicknamed the Ocean-to-Ocean bridge. Someone was even having their wedding there the day we visited!
