Poorly run farmer’s market. Signs for parking are not consistent with each other and are blocked by other cars and trees. Lady that organizes the farmers market or at least works at the information tent called for my car to be towed when there were still other spots available for vendors. The parking for vendors is only restricted on Thursdays from 1-9pm. The signs are low to the ground and below other signs that direct you to pay for parking at the machine. The machine has no text indicating that there is no parking on Thursday’s from 1-9pm. At the time of the towing there were open spots for vendors. The car was towed without warning. I talked to other vendors at the farmers market and they said it happens every week. It’s quite silly that a farmer’s market, a gathering of community and local vendors to support small businesses, would be so quick to tow away local community members that came to support these businesses. The lady who called in the towing is completely aware of how often these towings occur. If you’re reading this then I suggest More signs that are above the signs that say to pay for parking. Fix the signs that don’t have the “no parking on Thursday’s” sign Put traffic cones in the actual spot as opposed to on the curb near the parking spots. Telling me that you put cones there so that people know it’s restricted parking is a silly assumption. Put text on the parking machine that says “no parking on Thursday’s 1-9pm” When someone does park there on Thursday’s 1-9pm without a permit, only tow if it’s a last resort. If you had just waited 10 more minutes, we would’ve been back. In fact towing was not necessary because there were...
Read moreIf you are coming here you will likely want to park on the street but be very careful. Parking rules are different at various times and locations seemingly block to block. There were no cones where I parked and other cars were also parked there. We all got ticketed. Literally within 10 minutes of me parking, there were three meter maids, Johnny on the spot, ringing up tickets at $50 a piece. And yes I paid for parking.
Why is ticketing even necessary? The considerate thing would be to cone off parking spots they need as they empty an hour or so before the market hours. What's the opposite word for considerate that starts with D.
What is the point of going to this farmers market where not everything is even organic or natural. May as well go to Mom's or something, at least there is parking there it won't cost what essentially for me a...

Rainbow Hill farm has a good assortment of wonderful vegetables, Bread & Water has their terrific breads, and if you haven't had Westmoreland Farms' berries, you're really missing out. The Amish farmers have fresh eggs and tasty cheese, and "the apple guy" in the corner by Cosi (I can't remember the name of the farm, but his name is Bill) has great apples...
