I visited the Highlands location this evening to pick up a bracelet (had been sent to Kerrville to add a link- I had removed two and the bracelet was tighter than I wanted) and drop another one off to have the charms moved. Sadly, Kerrville was unable to add the additional link. Joanna immediately told me that she would exchange my bracelet for another large one and remove one link, which is perfect. The fact that she suggested this and allowed me to make the change is so very appreciated. She went above and beyond to help me and make me happy. Sheās also very kind. Gracie then helped me space the charms on the exchanged bracelet and on the one I was dropping off. She is so sweet, patient, and kind. She must have spent an hour with me helping me get the balancing right and the way I wanted it. She made me feel so comfortable, which is so rare these days. It means more to me than I can say, and itās appreciated so much. Thank you Joanna and Gracie for your kindness, patience, and expertise. This is the best customer service Iāve ever had.
An update: I went back the next day to pick up my bracelets. There was still an adjustment that I wanted to have made on one of the bracelets. Alisha helped me immensely to make the adjustment and get my bracelet just perfect! She is so sweet, patient, and kind. She was even able to have the two charms I brought put on right then! Thank you Alisha! I highly recommend this beautiful store - the people are wonderful.
Update from 12Sep12: I called the store to try and make a modification on my doggie bracelet that was going to be ready that afternoon, but the charms had already been added. Samantha came to the phone and offered to move a couple of them to make the change. The number of links between the charms wasnāt matching up with what I had wanted. She offered to redo the bracelet for me when I came in that afternoon. She determined that the style of the bracelet had changed a little bit - hence the amount of links confusion. She came up with a solution and made my bracelet perfect! This bracelet means so much to me, and she was part of that. Upon entering the store someone at the back hollered out āwelcome inā.. I was not there to shop or browse but just to pick up the item. I approached the counter and there was a young person named Samantha who I have to say absolutely does not appropriately represent your brand. First, she was wearing a top that revealed her mid drift which was unappealing to me as a customer. Second, I told her I was there to pick up an item that had been engraved- and her immediate response to me was not friendly or welcoming but she just said āI need to see your IDā. Now let me remind you I am picking up probably a $25 item that was a gift, and Iām sure you have your procedures for verifying that no one is stealing someone elseās item but letās not pretend that James Avery is the Pentagon.
This young lady probably 20 years old talking to a grown adult 51 year-old woman telling me that she needs to see my ID⦠In such a manner that made me feel very offputting by her lack of customer service. Iām sure this is the small place in the world where she gets to assert some type of authority but it does not come off well and she needs to be coached on her approach, her dress codes, and probably just needs to work at chipotle. By the way not once did she ever say thank youā¦. Some brand ambassador you have there. Will not recommend. Will not shop again. This place has gone downhill..boys with your wallet. ...

I was with my 14-year-old daughter who was getting her first charm after receiving the bracelet for Christmas. She had been gearing up for this day since Christmas morning. So yesterday, 2/16/2025 was the big day. The store is beautiful but reeked of marijuana. Thatās out of their control, I know. Unfortunately, we were not greeted by employees. Rude, but I brushed it off. However, after 20 minutes or so of looking around at all the displays and no acknowledgement, we decided to just go to the register. Once it was our turn, we were informed that the "God's Light Heart Charm" was sold out and was told to "look for something else." So, after another 15 minutes or so, we waited in line again and we asked for another charm that was also sold out. We went out for a third time, but by then I feel the saleslady had a heart, I guess. She suggested a charm, but it was not even remotely in the category of the first two charms. She just suggested my daughter get a daisy and then immediately walked back behind the counter without another word. We gave up and left empty handed. We love James Avery, but this left us...
