Meadowbrook Recreation Center — Attraction in Arlington

As a party rental vendor, I have never dealt with any type of nonchalant, passive non-professional attitude. I came an hour before Party start time in hopes to see if we could get in at least 30 to 15 minutes early to set up so we don’t look unprofessional as guest arrive at the start time. Not to mention, it’s the summertime and very hot. I completely understand theirs protocols and contracts that state on a policy whenever you book a party, but being kind and nice and speaking with compassion and being courteous and understanding. I will say if it’s not hurting anybody or anyone to allow at least the vendors to come in and set up even 5 or 10 minutes just to get their stuff inside. But the attendant was a female with glasses. She looked like she did not enjoy her title and would not have any type of courteous and kindness, and seeing that it wasn’t a problem. I will never recommend any of my clients to come here. I expect to hear back from the general manager maybe there’s some rules that should be courteous and allow venders to come and set up even 15 or 10 minutes. We went to ride our bikes, play basketball and take a break from the house. There were a lot of families playing, seating around and just enjoy themselves as we were. This is a very big park, there is a lot to do... playground is big, there are benches, walks, running, basketball goals, huge parking lot and areas for walking and ride your bike, specially if you go with little ones. I really enjoy the time that I spend on the parks with my family! Get out and explore your surroundings, you might be just steps away from your new favorite spot!! I thought I wrote a review 10 months ago. If I did, I said I used to play golf here every day and I was sorry that most of the guys aren't around anymore and even the skins game that went on for at least 25 years doesn't exist anymore. But Steve Simmons still works there. I'll go back--even though I'm now close to the soon-to-reopen under the name of Rangers golf course and I'm eager to see what the city of Arlington has done with what was already a pretty nice course. They improved little Meadowbrook and the park out front in my absence and it wasn't sensational, but it's nice to see the city figured out a way to bring in the revenues to do things like this--they started having liquor stores.
