NOVA Armory — Attraction in Arlington

I recently moved to the state and needed an FFL here in the area. NOVA Armory had great reviews so I reached out to them. On Thursday, 2 February I called asking if they would do an FFL to FFL shipment of a weapon for me. I asked the owner I was on the phone with what information was needed just to confirm. I visited the shop the next day to ship the firearm and the owner added two additional pieces of information he needed, which I of course did not have with me. Inconvenient, yes, but I always give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I returned again the next day with the additional requested information. The employee helping me with the transaction was surprisingly incompetent on how to simply ship a firearm to an out of state FFL. He literally called the owner twice in front of me with questions. Once all of the paperwork was filled out I asked the employee twice if I would receive the tracking number and he said yes via email. I then asked when the shipment would go out and he could not agree with another employee if it would be Monday or Tuesday. The shop is closed on Monday, but he insisted it would go out second day air on Monday. Tuesday came and I never received the tracking number. I called the shop requesting it and was told by the owner to call back later, which I did. The owner later gave me the tracking number when I called back, but it was to a shipment going to Denver not mine going to Tennessee. Luckily, the package was at least addressed properly and I have since received confirmation it arrived to the FFL in Tennessee so I'll give two stars on this review for mission complete. In the end, I paid over $70 to ship a firearm that I had to nearly hand walk through the entire process. I am active duty military and always support veteran owned businesses like this one, but I am going to have to take my Class 3 and future firearm business elsewhere given the amateur hour service I received just simply complete an FFL to FFL firearm shipment. If you are looking to purchase a handgun or two, then you probably won’t have any issue taking your business here and they will do it correctly. I definitely would not recommend using this shop for anything Class 3 related as you cannot afford to have these kinds of results dealing with...

One of best stores of any type of merchandise we have had pleasure of prataning. We bought 2 handguns. And rifles about 2 and half years ago at McLean store. See just recently came to Arlington store to have wife s pistol up and some add on goodies to rifle as wife says. I've had to call a few times going back and forth with store personnel who were super helpful answering all questions made suggests as well. I h a d chance to speak with Armor who was very very personal l and friendly. Bob offered different opttions which things he would do if it was his rifle but gave me options when e n practical. I have not been into pick up weapons as my wife was in hospital,, then home recovering the last 4 or 5 weeks healing. We hope to go this week as I am itching time get rifle and the gentlemen on phone said to focus on her health guns were safe and sound i would feel better laying my bill paid. I wish I had gotten names to give them credit they ALL deserved. Having been to both stores I I can say as a average gun owner and shot as is wife (both retired Police Officer) we don t have many guns it's nice to have more experienced people to go to for advise. As far as pricing having looked over Inernet at various guns and found VA RMORY to be fair and in some cases they actually had better prices. All Ill finish with is this is a very knowledgeable, friendly store with very competitive prices if they don't have in stock they can order and have fast turn around. The Worst experienced I've ever had! This guy kicked me out of the store and didn't give me my purchase of a $500 handgun that I already paid for online because I said I'm black of course I get a 2nd background check. (after already doing a background check and passing). Literally did nothing wrong and was treated like trash and thrown out. Racist horrible men in this place.The officer who worked there immediately jumped in my face and threatened me multiple times to take me physically down or call to have me put in jail me because his Co workers are Screaming GET OUT. 4 employees yelling at the top of there lungs "Get OUT" while the officer is in my face as i stood there and couldn't even get a response out. These are disgusting Bullies. I was not given my firearm and told call for a refund. Just put a sign on your door that says "WE Will FIND ANY REASON TO NOT SELL TO BLACKS" Still purchased my firearm from somewhere else your racism doesn't stop the world. I was denied my already paid for purchase, degraded, yelled at, threatened multiple times and kicked out in front of the whole store because the guy said "I had a attitude".
