I’ve been using Walgreens for years. I get all my medications there and it’s my go to for household and beauty. My doctor called in ONE dose of my medication to the Walgreens at 3937 Vogel Rd in Arnold, MO. The reason my doctor sent it to that location is because I was going to be staying at my boyfriends house which is over 30 minutes from my normal Walgreens. I spoke to someone Friday evening and they said they were preparing my medication. I called at 9:00 am on Saturday, December 3rd and was told (by the pharmacist) my med would be ready in two hours. After two hours passed and I went through the drive through. It was not ready. I asked when it would be (I asked closer to 15 minutes or closer to an hour) and she wouldn’t tell me. So after sitting in the parking lot for over an hour and a half I went back through. I was told I could not pick up my medication. The rude, disgruntled and unhelpful manager said that my address on the meds were different from what’s in the system. I’ve tried to update my address with Walgreens at least 4 times and somehow it’s never saved correctly HOWEVER, the address from the doctor matches my real ID (like the official “Real ID” from the DMV). She said it didn’t matter. She said I don’t get my meds at that location. Well last weekend I picked up two medications from that location so that’s not true and I explained that I was staying at my boyfriends. Then she tells me it’s too soon. Well my Walgreens messed up and shorted me one dose which is why my doctor had to call it in, in the first place. She refused to help me and told me there was no way she was filling it. So I’m stressed beyond belief bc I need it for tomorrow (Monday) and my doctor doesn’t work Mondays.
But honestly, what bothers me the most is I had contact with the pharmacy on 3 occasions at least one of which I spoke directly to the pharmacist. Why was I told to wait in my car for more than an hour and a half, use my gas and miss time at my boyfriends family just to be told the 4th time that she wouldn’t allow it.
I’m absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated and I was honestly in shock. I told her I would be leaving a review and she told me she didn’t care and that they don’t matter.
The medication I’m missing makes you feel sick almost immediately when you miss it. I could understand her caution if I were trying to fill some sort of opiate or high quantity of something but one dose, of this medication? Doesn’t make sense. They can easily see in my history I take. Not to mention Walgreens is the reason I don’t have it. I’ve never had this happen in all the years I’ve been using Walgreens.
Their drive thru at Vogel Rd always has at least a 20 minute wait and the staff always seems frazzled, confused and extremely unhappy to be there.
The only thing I will say is I’ve picked up online orders at that store a number of times and the store staff has always been extremely helpful and friendly.

Read moreUPDATE... NOW the pharmacy is with holding medication when my wife runs out. Makes her wait a day without meds and the persist to ask do you really need these. After Rods and Screwa in her back yes. What right do you have acting like your god. Wife had back surgery T lift and the pharmacy has told her 3 separate times within an hour that it would be ready in 20 mins so the pharmacist can pump milk. From my understanding its 20 mins every 2 hrs to pump. So i dont get why milk was being pumped for an hour. Extra marathon. Stop judging people because they take pain medication when you don't know what's going on. And called cops because after the hour and half of waiting at home I drove up asked for rx and was given yet another reason that it was not started nor ready. I said I wasn't leaving with out it. Those lines inside and out are horrible so you want me to drive all the way around to wait another few hrs. It was suppose to be ready 4 20 mins. apparently you not knowing what was going on becuase in fact someone dropped the ball. Apparently there was a fill in that day so not her fault. Pharmacy then lie to me say the dr office kept transferring Walgreens and wouldn't answer. I was on the phone with the Dr. No attempt was made. There are few good here but this explains the work ethic of this location. 2.2 stars of pure failure. I called corporate while in drive thru I got a call rb. Thanks for at least the follow up. Pharmacies use to be professional and carring. They tried making me go home to do the leg work when someone else's legs...
Read moreCOUNT YOUR MEDICATION! My wife Dawn gets her medicine from this location Walgreens. For the last 6 months or so her medicine was coming up short at the end of the month so about 3 months ago I started counting her medicine after we picked it up and 3 months ago it was 2 short of 90. Last month it was 7 short of 90. The month of June when it was short of 7 we brought her medication back to the pharmacy and they gave her the 7 she was shorted. Now this month it was short 5. She only had 85 out of 90 so I brought it back. The manager did an inventory count and said all the medicine of that kind was accounted for in the inventory, which means only one thing: THERE IS AN EMPLOYEE OR EMPLOYEES TAKING PEOPLES MEDICATION OUT OF THIER BOTTLES SO PLEASE ANYBODY GETTING MEDICATION FROM THIS LOCATION VOGEL WALGREENS COUNT YOUR MEDICINE. LET'S NOT LET A CORRUPT EMPLOYEE CONTINUE TO STEAL PEOPLE'S MEDICATION.
