STL SUBS - Arnold — Restaurant in Arnold Township

We tried the newest sub shop in Arnold today , StL Subs . It's located in the same location as the Goodcents sub shop was in . We noticed to order process is different than Goodcents was . You go all the way to the cashier & tell him (or her) , what you want & all the additions to your sub sandwich & then you pay and then he gives the order to the people on the line to prepare your sub , per your request . If you are dining in , you sit down at a table & when your order is done , they bring it to your table . The subs we got were "The Lou" in 8" length & "I-44 Club" in 8" . Both subs were very good with plenty of meat & toppings . Took a little while to get them , but they were good . We'll try them again & try different subs to see how...

I went here the first time after a few weeks ago, after they'd changed from Goodcents Subs. Unfortunately, the food at STL Subs was just mediocre. The sandwhiches seemed to have less meat and the bread wasn't very tasty either, it was just...meh (especially for the cost). It was just an okay sandwhich, but I have to compare it to Goodcents and it just wasn't as flavorful or visually appealing. The staff were friendly enough though. For a 14" being $2 more than a GC's 14 inch sub, it wasn't...

Bread was soft. Meats were fresh, but roast beef is too rare. Leaves blood on the bread. Gross. I had to take the beef off my sub and cook it. Pickles are good. Service seemed very inexperienced. Will not return. I miss the previous sub store...
