Happy Wok — Restaurant in Arnold Township

They were late with their food estimate and only had one other order to make there. When I walked in I waited about 4-5 minutes before someone acknowledge I was there... after I finally got to talk with someone they just ran my card and then we waited another 10 minutes (keep in mind they quoted me 15 minutes which I arrived in about 20 to give a little extra time). I then asked how much longer and they said it was already done, so then I had to ask if I could have it (you think it would be automatic but it definitely was not). So then they started talking in their language and laughing (which I can understand because they just screwed me out of 20 bucks for crappy food and service). I thought at least the food might be good and the establishments one saving grace but unfortunately the meat is low quality and taste is slightly below average. I ordered food for delivery and they were 30 minutes late to drop it off. I think they only reason I got it 30 minutes late is because I called and I’m assuming that’s when they left with my order. I ordered at 5:05 with an expected delivery time between 5:40-5:50. I called at 6:05 and asked about status and they told me the food “should have left for delivery” I would think that’s something you know happened or not. When the delivery driver finally showed up at 6:18 he didn’t offer an apology and when I asked if the food sat in his car for 30 minutes he said “no” and walked away. An apology would’ve been nice and if you can’t deliver in the time frame your website says, then you need to adjust your times. Poor service. Food was cold. Will not be ordering...

My order was expected to arrive at 5:35-5:45 the driver didn’t show up until 6:25 almost a full hour late. When I explained my frustration he said he got here as fast as he could but his gps took him a roundabout way (I live 12 min from the restaurant. Also, it’s 2022. A gps on a smartphone is pretty straightforward and would not take that long.) The food was bland, tasteless, and the “chicken” was questionable. I’ve never thrown away food so fast before, normally I can choke the food down especially when I just wasted $50 but was an exception because this was absolutely terrible.
