Harbor Yak — Attraction in Ashtabula

Being an avid fisherman, I've noticed a real lack of guided steelhead fishing in ashtabula county. After doing some research, I couldnt really find anyone, until I came across harbor yak, which i previously thought only did kayak and canoe rentals. So, I reached out to them on Instagram and was immediately met with a response. I received all the info I needed, like what I needed being, where to meet, and the rates (very reasonable). We arranged my trip and went out. I had an amazing time, exploring many fisheries, I hadn't been before and Brandon(my guide) worked tirelessly to get me into fish and he did an excellent job. We went to 4 different fishing locations and i caught 6 fish. Truly a fantastic experience and I cant wait...

Brandon, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure we had the opportunity to kayak and enjoy every moment of it. His dedication to creating a great experience really stood out. Loved the hydrobikes, super stable and easy to ride! Water bottle holder was convenient, as was the small compartment for dry items like sunscreen. Staff was extremely friendly and helped suggest whether the kids could handle the hydrobike versus kayak. Nice to have the different options. Only minor issue was that it was difficult to retrieve our water bottle that fell off of my daughters bike. Would also be nice to have a clock on the bike, easy to lose...
