This is the best museum I have been to depicting African American history and is on par with the African American history museum in DC, while not as big, this museum just as jam packaged with knowledge as the museum in DC. Our family didn't know that we had to make an appointment prior and we just showed up and the staff gave us a tour anyway. staff was friendly 10/10 can't wait for the basement to open also the Ashtabula maritime museum is just a short walk...
