This overlook of the Ashtabula Bascule Bridge gives a wonderful view of the bridge, mouth of the Ashtabula River, and the harbor. In the summer, the bridge lifts every half hour, as needed, and you can watch sailboats, motor boats, and even a tug once in a while, enter and leave the marina. Lovely view all seasons. You c a n drive to parking on hill or walk three flights of steps. Harbor coffee is open early if you want nourishment during a sunrise. Week end has open places and food. Lovely bars and sunsets.
