Dynasty Event Lounge — Attraction in Atlanta

I wish I could give this guy Rome zero stars. I booked from him as a last minute one week in advance notice and paid the whole fee of $800. He stated that I can call him at anytime on his phone for any questions that I may have. Little did I know that once I gave him my money I would not hear from him until the morning of the event. I stated that his actions were unprofessional, he then goes to tell me that he had someone to that was willing to pay more but chose me…what nerve so you blaming me for not taking the money of someone who called after me. The night before the event I had to book with someone because of uncertainties. After asking for my money back he wanted to continue to ask how can we fix it. Then still refused to send me my money back. Sounded professional until he wasn’t. We’re in Atlanta where there are scammers everywhere and he is indeed on of them. I am currently seeking litigation. Never do business with this guy because he is a lone horse as he stated to me and has no one to back him up if he’s on vacation for a week. He will definitely take you money and...

Horrible experience. My friend paid in full to rent the venue. On the day of the event the owner never showed up! We called numerous times but the owner kept slurring his words and not giving us direct answers. He never confirmed if he was going to be able to come and open the door or if there was an alternative method that we could use to access the building. Eventually he stopped answering our calls all together. Very unprofessional! There is no excuse for the lack of communication. There were multiple opportunities while we were on the phone for the owner to explain why he wasn’t there and what were the alternatives we could utilize to access the venue. The salon owner next door saw my friend crying outside the door and offered to help. We later found out this is a repeated pattern. He sounds very professional when you initially reach out, collects your money and then ghost you the day of your event! Situations happen, it’s how you handle them that make...

We're still waiting for the full refund for my god daughter's sweet 16 party. We've received a partial refund, but we're waiting on the rest. Venue reps were a no-show and never opened the door. He returned the calls of another "customer/client" and explained where he had been (living his best life on a party trip) while ignoring all calls regarding my God daughters party. Though I was standing next to the other client when he called, the venue rep refused to answer multiple calls from me, my girlfriend, our caterer, Decorator, and others. I have NEVER been so disgusted with a business in my adult life. My God daughter was devastated. We had planned to host a film industry wrap part at this location later in the year. But that's going to be a hard no. From all of us. Shameful, disgraceful. VERY DISAPPOINTED. UPDATE: Full refund and apology made by management.
