So everyone who knows me know I everyone about waffle house. All my northerners, this is the place I'm going to take first off and then they want to eat the food just about every day of their stay. You would think I get paid for advertising. Lol... when I tell you the worst customer service ever received in all my days was at RESTAURANT #1172 1700 HOWELL MILL, ATLANTA. First off I walked in 90+ degrees. Not to far from RESTAURANT. I ordered my food waited received it asked for grits, got hashbrowns, bacon burt, got a waffle no syrup. Wall back to get a syrup and was told I couldn't have but one when I needed 2. Asked why could I not receive an extra for walk back in the heat . Was told no. Then I stated well can u pay , yes it'll be .50 I pulled out my credit card to pay and then decided against it. I stated to employee that this is unreal not to receive a syrup for the inconvenience the manfer was in duty and over heard the stated rudely bye. There was a great employee who happen to hear what transpired and could not believe what was happening. She stated ma'am did you get the syrup I stated no. Even with my order being screwed and not receiving one in the first place. The kind great customer service that knows real customer service gave me the syrup her Manger mumble something under his mask, and the remark from the great employee stated that's fine I'll pay the .50 that's not a problem, she then tossed the .50 in the cup for the manager and said there's your .50 she knew how to handle an unhappy customer. The manager should take notes... very disappointed by the cashier that disservice me and the manager who cared about .50 more than the customer. My drink came as my food arrived, even though there were only 5 guests in the restaurant. The guest next to me came in to study and sat for a solid 15 minutes before getting up to ask for coffee, having not been addressed or greeted by the wait staff. She came to ask me questions about my food twice, instead of just writing it properly. This annoyed the cook and other servers.
The cook continued to tell her to stop halfway doing everything, but she ignored him. Terrible experience. I just moved to the area and hope that the staff during the day is better trained and cares more for the customers. I understand having headphones when it is not busy for sanity's sake, but she was listening to music or a phone call or something while waiting on guests; naturally impairing her focus which created a hassle for all...

Five minutes later, I pull up to pick up the order. Upon arrival, I indicated that I was there to pick up my order and they told me to hold tight. Thirty-five minutes later, I decided to leave - my order was never announced. I decided to call after to see if they even cooked my food. The same young lady on the phone states that my food is ready...
How is it that I stood there for an extra 20 minutes with no announcement that my food is ready after I physically told them I was there? The location was crowded and there were six to go orders made and fulfilled in the time that I waited.
