The so-called “Spa Crawl” was an absolute joke—a complete scam, to be honest. The advertising made it sound like we’d be getting five actual spa experiences, but instead I PAID OVER $500 just to be SOLD PRODUCTS. Are you kidding me??
Here’s the exact wording from their website: "Join us for the Spa Crawl! Relax, explore, and indulge in a multi-stop wellness experience at The Spa & Salon at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas. Enjoy Spa amenities, treatments, giveaways & raffle prizes! 2-5 pm $130.00 Spots are Limited - RSVP NOW!"
Do you see anything in there about “visit our vendor booths while we peddle our crap”? NO.
I paid $130 x 4 people = $520 for… what? To parade around in robes while vendors pitched us their soaps, lotions, hair spray, and cuticle cream? And what did we get for this “luxury experience”? Tiny samples—basically the same junk you’d get tossed at you in a Mary Kay party gift bag. NO treatments. Not one. Just a pathetic sales pitch disguised as a spa event.
And the robe situation? Don’t even get me started. They called ahead to ask our robe sizes and shoe sizes—as if we’d need them for some kind of real spa treatment. But nope. There was literally zero reason to even be in a robe. It was nothing but smoke and mirrors to make this scam look legit.
I am beyond livid. They should be ashamed. They wasted our vacation time, humiliated us by making us walk room to room in robes for sales pitches, and then had the nerve to charge us for it? No. THEY should have PAID US for sitting through that garbage.
This wasn’t a “Spa Crawl.” It was a flat-out rip-off.
Update: after a phone call that ended with me hanging up, a full...
Read moreI just had an absolutely amazing massage with Jocelyn! She was fantastic and I truly loved the experience.
However, my overall experience was hampered by two major issues. First, I was very disappointed by the lack of shared relaxation areas. We booked a couples massage and were hoping for a lounge, whirlpool, or other space to relax together afterward, which is a feature we've become accustomed to at other AC resort spas we frequent (about four times a year). I wish we had been offered an upgrade option, perhaps a couples room with a tub, when my husband called to schedule.
Second, there was a discrepancy in the final price. The massages were listed as \
300 online, but we were charged \\
320 before gratuity, bringing the total to over \$400. We would appreciate more upfront and clear pricing in the future. While the service itself was five-star, the lack of shared amenities and the unexpected charge made this a less-than-perfect...
Read moreShort notice last minute get a way! The golden nugget was the only hotel spa that could fit us in for service and hotel booking availability. Booked on Thursday for service on Saturday! The facilities are nice and clean.
Upon entering you are greeted by staff you sign in and guided to the dressing room. Given a locking locker slippers and a robe. The message therapist were very friendly. We had a full body Swedish couples relaxation massage. We were in the same room. After that we had access to the sauna, pool and other spa amenities. The one con was the showers were down (we were oily from our massages) over all a great experience. For the massage it was $300 $150 per person xtra $10 for medium massage (pressure) taxes and automatic 20% gratuity altogether came to $379 and change. Could we have gotten it cheaper yes but for everything in one place and my hotel room upstairs that was convenient for us! Would recommend,...
