I love my city! Attended First Friday Roots Celebration. We are a large suburb 200k residents with more diversity and appreciation for diversity ethnic, religious, socio economic than I have ever experienced in any other suburb/city I have lived in. Read moreVery disappointing experience visiting Aurora downtown. There’s honestly not much to see or do — the area felt dull and unwelcoming. What made it worse was the attitude of some people we encountered; it didn’t feel friendly or inclusive at all. As visitors, we felt uncomfortable and out of place instead of being welcomed.
Would not recommend visiting — definitely not the kind of warm, diverse, or vibrant atmosphere...
