Wow I'm the first person to review this park.
It has a very spacious flatland area for sports, although it's down a hill so after it rains this may become a wetland. Beware of mud.
The grass needs to be kept up with a little more often, possibly once a week. During my visit I noticed the grass was quite long, the highest point went up to my knees (about a foot off the ground) and there's a few bald spots to fill in.
The playground would benefit from either an expansion or new equipment in general (i.e. another swing set for more children, a larger jungle gym).
I appreciate the placement of the trees, most of which are close to the playground so adults can relax close while their childreb play. There's two picnic benches at this park but there's only one close to the playground while the other is on the opposite end of the park, and no trashcans to speak of.
Final thoughts on the park in general, it's a fun, safe place to play but poorly managed. Add some trashcans, additional seating closer to the playground, some improved equipment, and maintain the grass more effectively and this park will be a success that attracts more people and can be seen as functional for events...

Read more(UPDATE 6/25/23): Aurora Parks have added a playground! Next time I'm over there, I'll add some pics. This is a park in that it is a green space with a couple of pieces of playground equipment and a picnic table. The space is under utilized as it is too sloping for field sports. There should be more shade trees planted and tables...
