Absolute worst experience at any retail place. First, you didn't have the item I was looking for (Nintendo Switch, understandable due to the pandemic) but the person in the electronics department politely refused to even check nearby stores when I asked. Second, I bought two nerf guns that were under a $49.99 price tag. They rang up as $73.99 and when I brought proof that there wasn't a 73 dollar price tag on the entire nerf gun wall. He said that the best he could do is 10% off. ( I was willing to do it since it would save the hassle of getting a manager.) Third, he didn't even ring up a dinosaur toy until I asked about the prices of the rest of the merchandise. (He rang up everything while I was getting proof for the nerf guns). After that, I specifically asked him to place the receipt in the bag ($540 receipt). He grabbed what I thought was a receipt and placed it into the bag, but when I got home there wasn't a receipt. I then had to bring back two items because my niece's taste has changed in the past year. It turns out that he also didn't ring up the Doll Salon ($110) that I was attempting to return. I asked them to look up my receipt and to exchange the merchandise that I wished to return for the new merchandise and refund the balance to my card. Since, he didn't ring in the salon I stood there for over 20 minutes while the manager and security tracked my receipt, watched cameras. The security team didn't even know how to read the receipt so I had to figure out if I was overcharged yet again by myself (Thankfully I wasn't) taking about another 5 minutes. Then when we finally get to the exchange it turns out that only one machine could do exchanges (but it wouldn't find my receipt) and the other I had to process a return and then a purchase. I expressly wanted the minimum amount of transactions so that it would be easier to read my bank statement. Because honestly I absolutely hate having money taken out within minutes of a purchase but Target takes their sweet time returning my money. Lastly, due to all of this you took about 35-40 minutes of my time. This prevented me from going to Hot Topic (Closed at 8 P.M) to actually shop for what my niece wanted. So not only did you refuse the most basic customer service, you treated me like a criminal until you checked the cameras, you wasted my time, but you prevented me from buying gifts that my niece...
Read moreIâve had negative experiences with the drive up pick up area at this store before, but tonightâs experience deserves a review. I checked in on the app prior to leaving my home. When I arrived I was the only vehicle there and I added my space number in the app. Several cars came after me and their orders were brought out before mine. When my order arrived I got out of my vehicle to assist with loading my order in my vehicle as it was drizzling. The FIRST words out of the associateâs mouth were to scold me saying in a rude tone that ânext time you should check in on the app before you leave because we didnât know you were here.â I informed her that I did check in on the app prior to leaving my home to which she responded condescendingly âwell then maybe you need to update your app.â Knowing full and well how apps work, I let her know if I needed to update my app it wouldâve let me know. She started to load items in my trunk while I loaded items into my back seat. I told her that I continuously have problems at this location and I donât appreciate being spoken to as if Iâm a liar. At this point she attempted to retract some of what she said saying âoh we just didnât know you were here and we saw you here and we were just like well sheâs just gonna have to wait because she didnât check in.â (Pretty much a verbatim quote and look at those words #rude) Again, I told her that I did check in. After unloading half of the order (I did the other half as she watched), she walked off and she didnât even close my truck. Mind you, I was helping her do her job in the rain and she was unkind! The last time I checked, I wasnât on Targetâs payroll (I should be, as I did her job better than her). On top of that, whoever packed my order did a poor job. Some of the bags were ridiculously heavy, all of the glass jars were packed together, and there were household cleaning chemicals packed with food items. #unacceptable From this point forward I will avoid this location. Three strikes...
Read moreOn 02/ 21/ 19 I was checked out at register 12 at 3:10 pm. The older lady with the short whitish blond hair was incredibly rude to me. I usually bring cloth bags to cut down on plastic waste, but had forgotten them today. I asked her is she had paper bags and she sharply said "NO." I made an annoyed face and told her "I'll just carry my items then." She rudely retorted "Well you can do whatever you want." When I looked offended at that, she told me I could purchase a cloth Target bag.
In response I grabbed a cloth bag and told her I'd buy it, and as she was ringing up my items she told me how some Targets have paper bags, but this one didn't. She then felt the need to tell me that she "really doesn't care" about plastic bag waste. In response to this unnecessary ignorant comment, I told her that it's difficult to recycle plastic bags, and that some countries are starting to ban then. In response to this she said "Well those countries can do whatever they want, but we don't have to because this is America!" I informed her then that America is actually one of the biggest polluters of the planet, to which she snapped "Well I don't believe that!" I told her that there's this thing called Science that could prove her opinion wrong, in response she shoved my bag toward me and said harshly "You have a nice day." However her tone was incredibly rude.
I couldn't believe that this lady was basically shaming me and pushing some type of pro-pollution agenda on me. I don't usually complain to managers but this exchange was so offensive that I complained to one of the managers on duty. He was nice to me and said he would speak with the rude cashier. I appreciated the manager's sympathy, but I still left the store with negative feelings about the whole exchange. I live in the area but may go to other Target stores in the future, since I don't want to be disrespected simply for wanting to cut down on...
