One of their hairdressers, Abrianna, asked me to follow her to Clementine's after she did a great job cutting my hair at another salon near my house. I did and made an appointment with her for highlights. My first time with her at the salon was fine. Then I made another appointment a few months later. My highlights were terrible and my haircut wasn't straight. One side was longer than the other. I've been highlighting my hair since I was 13 so basically for 41 years and I've never once complained, but considering it costs me $400 each visit, I felt I should let them know. They were very gracious and offered to fix it for free. I saw another hairdresser, Laura, who fixed it for me. 4 months later, I was desperately due for some highlights, as my roots had grown. I came this past sunday and made an appointment with the hairdresser who fixed it, Laura. When I cam in she asked what I wanted. I said I wanted the brightest blonde, like I always do. I can't recall if I've shown her pictures or not. I think I did, of Leslie Bibb's bob, who was on White Lotus season 3. She's bright blonde with a short bob.
Once my hair was done, I thought it looked fine, albeit a bit dark but without natural lights, I couldn't really tell. To be fair, anything was an improvement from my overgrown roots....
Once I got outside, I noticed my hair was not at all blonde, but reddish. I want to call it strawberry blonde, or venetian blonde? I'm not certain what it's called but it's definitely wasn't blonde, especially at the roots and around the face. There were no bright blonde strands to frame my face.
I know that in recent years there's been a new trend to ban all brasiness in blonde hair, which, IMO, resulted in more ashy/silver blondes. I don't like that. It doesn't fit my skin tone, I've always said I want a bright blonde, with no orange but some yellow-ish/gold tones, especially around my face, yet it's been increasingly more difficult to get that in salons.
I got home and looked again in the mirror to make sure I wasn't crazy. I wasn't crazy. My husband and kids noticed my hair was darker and more reddish than usual. I hated it. Don't get me wrong, it's a pretty color, FOR SOMEONE ELSE, but it's not what I asked nor paid $400 for.
I went on FB in my local group to see if anyone could fix it the next day and thankfully I found someone who did. As I explained the situation, 4 other people in that group mentioned having had a bad experience at that salon. One of them stating she was escorted out of the salon in tears with a dutch boy haircut she hated, I gave them another chance that first time, but now I will never set foot in that salon again. I asked them to refund me my highlights, let's see if they will. Again, it costs me $400 for the wrong color and I had to spend another $200 to get it fixed. While I believe Abrianna and Laura are kind, lovely people, I worry that they may need additional training, which is the salon's owner's responsibility.

Read moreWhat a completely horrible experience I was a first time client they paired me with a stylist who did not know what she was doing. I tried to help correct her so I could walk out of there with a decent haircut after not having a haircut in over a year I figured I’d cut my losses and I had to go so I was running out the door and the manager stopped me and said that she could see that I wasn’t completely satisfied and wanted me to be completely satisfied and really wanted to make sure everything was great, I said thank you and left and went to my car. I noticed that my haircut was not what I wanted at all and I called her back and said I actually would like to come in and have it fixed. She said she would dig around and find a stylist who would be better suited for me, and when she called me back, she told me that, in fact, they would not be seeing me again and that they wish me luck and finding a stylist who could do what I wanted. I wanted a basic layered Bob lots of layers fun Chunky any person who knows how to cut hair it would’ve had a field day with the haircut I wanted. this place made me feel bad for wanting a technically skilled person to cut my hair And now I have to find a salon to fix what this woman did to my hair. She absolutely did not know what she was doing and now I’m left with something that needs to be fixed. And to top it off, the stylist did not even wash the back of my head and whatever products she used by the end of the evening my entire scalp broke out into a huge rash. . I am super upset and offended how dare they make me feel bad for their employees not knowing what they’re doing. Don’t go here. I will not be going here ever again and I will tell every person I know what a garbage can...

I went in for a haircut today, the salon is very nice and all the staff was very kind. I came with reference pictures for what I wanted, a shoulder length cut with wispy face framing bangs and lots of layers. My appointment started 10 minutes late which wasn’t a huge issue, until my stylist started rushing at the end and left me with a straight chin length bob. When asked if I liked my hair, I said I was in shock about the change. My stylist said I’d get used to it. I tried to explain how it could be fixed and she did try but seemed in a huge hurry to finish and said she was already running late for her next appointment. I felt embarrassed walking out and frustrated that I was also charged $40 for a hair treatment that was pushed on me, I feel like I was scammed (I was not told that it would cost extra and I already told them I didn’t want to pay for any extra services). If I’m paying $150 for a salon visit, I expect my hair to look better than what I could have gotten at great clips for a fraction of the price.
I cried all the way home and called my sister who encouraged me to go back to ask for a refund. The front desk staff asked to see my reference photos and apologized profusely for what was done to my hair. They immediately refunded my payment, but unfortunately, you can’t buy hair back and now I have to walk around looking like a 10 year old boy with a bowl haircut which is why I decided to write this review. I’m absolutely heartbroken with how I look and cannot recommend going to this salon...
