I’ve been eating street tacos my whole life—from Sonora to Jalisco to southern Arizona where I grew up. These were great: house tortillas and salsas, creative fillings and quality ingredients. The CDMX style taqueria vibe is spot on, and the margaritas were excellent. Service was a little spotty, but that’s expected in the first few days.
Once we saw the prices, we were surprised when our waitress said they can eat 6–7 tacos when they’re hungry - not because that’s unusual for street tacos, but because a meal here gets expensive fast. And they were right; everyone at our table was full after about six.
They nailed the authentic atmosphere and the food was good, but no where close to mind-blowing (try Alma Fonda Fina). Most of all, the prices were wild. Here’s the clearest example: Tapatio Blanco, a fantastic but affordable blanco that sells for under $40 a bottle across Denver, was priced at $17 for a single pour.
I’ll continue to support them, but it won’t be the weekly family spot I was hoping...
Read moreThis place is awesome! The food is delicious. Super cool atmosphere. Great service. It’s also been open less than a week. It’s super busy. That’s a good thing. The people who are complaining and leaving one star reviews do not know what they are talking about. You are going to a restaurant on its opening weekend. From two amazing chefs. It’s going to be hard to get into. They won’t take togos so they can focus on the in house diners. The cost is super reasonable. $17 for the tequila that a previous reviewer is talking about is the exact right price. There are real humans behind this place with feelings. Who are working their tails off. Don’t be mean. How about some empathy for risking it all to open a restaurant. Leaving poor reviews for a business on their opening weekend is a classless move....
Read moreVery disappointed with the customer service. My husband and I live a 2 minute walk from the new molino chido opened in Stanley Market. We had been soooo excited to go try out the food and experience the atmosphere since it reminded us of back home. We had decided if we loved the tacos, it would be our new Friday night hangout spot. But yesterday as soon as we arrived (exactly 7:00pm) we were not even greeted with a welcoming hello and smile….. it was straight to “sorry we are not taking any more customers”. It was heartbreaking :(….. we were so excited to try them….. only to be turned away. Their online website states they close at 9pm. So we left confused...
