As bad or worst as the lowest of low used car lots!! A complete circus! Started contacting this place via their online website to schedule an appt and complete ppw in November 2017. Finally recd ppw in early January and was told 2 months waiting list and of course they couldn’t schedule anything without having ppw completed. Completed ppw and sent in referral... waiting for my appt... Recd a letter in the mail (not a phone call, or email) a letter telling me they have recd my ppw and would be approx 6-8 months from then before an appt could be scheduled! So we called to complain and was told 8-12 months!? Like seriously!? In the mean time.. I reached out and connected with campus in Springs for what I hoped would be a shorter waiting period. Left a voicemail with ALL of the information. Recd returned call and could tell right away that she had not even looked at my sons file! Asks me all of the same questions as if I’ve never even called. We manage to get past point and she tells me that the Springs campus is different than the Aurora campus and talks to me as if somehow I knew all of the differences and what I needed. Reminded her that was the first time her and I spoke and she’d need to be a bit more specific and forthcoming with the details. We get past all of that (even though I still do not 100% understand the differences as I asked for the same exact type of testing before) she asks me if there was an email address where she could send ppw and of course she CANNOT SCHEDULE AN APPT WITHOUT HAVING PPW COMPLETED. OMG! Are you serious!? I explained to her that I have already completed ALL of my sons ppw for the testing I am trying to schedule an appt for!! She tells me they have an entirely different set of ppw and reminds me again that she can’t schedule an appt without having ppw completed. I told her I was not happy with the entire process.. that it was a joke and let her know i would be filing...
Read moreAfter Hoffman left, this office has gone completely down the drain. Staff is rude and recommends things directly against parents wishes whether spiritual or mwdical decisions, all they want is to drug your child but then when you ask for changes in medication, it is an inconvenience and they expect you to drop everything you’re doing and make appointments that don’t work for everybody’s schedule. If you are not available for an appointment on their time in their schedule, you have to wait months on end for appointments.I was told in our initial appointment with slaymaker that “she had other people to see and we need to hurry“when she was seeing my very complex case child When we had waited over 10 months to see and drove two Hours to see her and was explaining the history. I absolutely do not recommend this place and I think that you should see care elsewhere because every healthcare professional will tell you that Childrens staff are overwhelmed, underpaid, and understaffed. They do not write prescriptions for medical supplies anymore nor do they write referrals for therapy is as “there are too many patients to do this for, and to seek primary care “ per their nursing staff. What is the point of coming to a specialist when they are rude, and do not help with anything involving...
Read moreI received a call on Friday 9/23 that my daughter was finally able to be scheduled after a ten month wait. I called back Monday 9/26 and left a voicemail. A few days go by I called the same number again (direct line to a woman working in the dept) and again no one answered. Finally I looked up the general number to developmental pediatrics and the same lady answered and said she had given the apt to someone else and now it will be at least three more months. I called back NEXT BUSINESS DAY and she had already given the apt away? She left no indication in her message to me that she'd give it away that quickly. I am so, so disappointed and frustrated. There needs to be a better protocol in place to give parents at least a day to respond before giving their apt away. Plus I called her multiple times and in nine days she never once called me back I had to catch her at their general...
