Right when you walk in, people go out in the counter are ready to say hello, and smiling, i tried everything on the menu. It was delicious. I have a big family, so I was able to order one of everything. I don't think one meal. Let us down the katsu chicken, amazing.. The waffles are really creative as they are bubble waffles. And the chicken is really thick, chicken tenderloin, not that other stuff. You get cardboard paper-thin, it's as big as your hand definitely filling. You can get different seasonings on it. Hot isn't so bad if you really like hot things. Go with the hot if you like mild things. Go with a hawk, either.Any of them are good.It's about how much you ask them to sprinkle on. I had the absolute pleasure of ordering to-go from this restaurant and I’m still dreaming about the flavors! Every bite was packed with bold, satisfying goodness.

I started with the chicken katsu (spicy level) paired with fried rice and mac salad. While the mac salad was the only forgettable item on my plate, the katsu more than made up for it. Plentiful, crispy, and drenched in a rich, tangy sauce. It hit every mark.

The chicken sandwich (medium spice) came next and it was perfection. Perfectly fried with a crisp exterior and juicy interior, it paired beautifully with the slaw, adding freshness and balance to the heat.

The cheesy empanadas? Chef’s kiss. These were the star of the show—ooey, gooey, golden, and packed with flavor. I could eat a dozen and still crave more.

As if that wasn’t enough, the chicken tenders (medium spice) came through with an ultra-savory coating and moist, tender meat that left nothing to be desired. I did order the bubble jalapeño cheddar waffle, but it didn't travel well (~15 mins).

However, you need to look no longer because Kickin Chicken has entered the game. They use juicy, flavorful thigh meat for their sandwiches, and it matters. Each bite is packed with flavor, not just heat. The Asian slaw and dill pickles add that perfect crunch and tang, and the spice level hits just right bold enough to wake you up and remind you that you are alive, but not ruin your day.

The sides are awesome as well. Sure, you’ve got fries, but also Mexican street corn (so good), fried rice, coleslaw, and creamy mac and cheese. We even took some bread pudding to go, because why not? The menu has legit variety and quality across the board. Super unheard of at these chicken restaurants.
