Blazing Bird in Aurora is definitely worth a stop if you’re into bold, flavorful chicken sandwiches. I ordered their chicken sandwich that’s stuffed with mac and cheese, and honestly, it was a flavor bomb. The chicken was crispy and juicy, with just the right amount of spice to give it a kick without overpowering everything. The mac and cheese inside was creamy and rich, making it more of a full-on comfort food experience than just a sandwich.

The portion size was generous, and the sandwich itself felt like a meal on its own — no need for extra sides unless you’re starving. The heat level is just right for spice lovers but not unbearable if you’re not used to really hot food. The seasoning on the chicken is what sets it apart from other spots; it has a smoky, slightly tangy flavor that keeps you coming back for another bite.

How do you rate a take out that's been in transit for well over 25 minutes. Well, in this case probably as some of the best I've ever had. Blazing Bird has a flavour foundation that is exquisite, being that I'm not huge on super spicy i found the mild to be just enough heat that it didn't melt my taste buds. It arrived pretty darn warm for such a long time in transit and whoever came up with this recipe for fries needs a promotion. I had ordered it simple and decided to have the 3 large tenders in order to get the basic flavour of the chicken and spice. Spice is not JUST a matter of heat, there was a lovely balance of garlic, sweet, paprika and some other blended spices that i couldn't identify but still very much enjoyed. The fries, like most commercial ones, are heavily dipped in corn starch but in this case it gives them an edge. When exposed to the outside air after transport they immediately crisped up quite a bit, and made them far better than most "fresh" fries I've had in fast food. If I had a complaint it was that the chicken was slightly over done, some parts were just a little dry as a result but overall the entire thing was delicious. The experience started off on the wrong foot with the approach by the representative or cashier. She was not friendly. We said that it was our first time there and asked for some ideas. There was no response other than, “I have not eaten much on the menu.” That really was a dull response. We placed our order, she refused to provide a military discount because I was not in uniform. We placed our order very specifically, when the order came out, my daughter’s order had sauce in her quesadilla. We were very specific about no sauce. I kindly went up to address the matter with the employee of the establishment. Her response was; “ What do you want me to do about it?!” Lastly, the AC was not working in the building on a 98 degree day!! Terrible atmosphere to eat your food in. It was hot in the restaurant. That was the biggest waste of $50.00 ever. There was no manager to address the issues with. The food was okay at best. The fries were better than the chicken. Very overrated and terrible customer service service. I wish I could get my money back. I do NOT recommend this location to anyone. Terrible...
