05-08-25 update - service had to come out and fix more broken light lens. If you ever get a hot tub, don't get them with lights. They constantly break and short out. 02-28-24 update - service had to come out and cut holes in my new hot tub to replace 4 broken light lens and replace 1 broken light and fix the tub from leaking. The Dimensions One Spas are crap and A-Tex knows this but they keep on selling them and never tell the consumer of all the defects with it. Imagine spending over $10,000 on something and then they have to come out and cut it apart time and time again to keep fixing the same problems! 11-01-23 update - service came out to replace a warped panel that was on back order for several months. Once again, the service department is the only people you can count on in this company. 09-18-23 update - just found out the 3 year warranty on my spa is bullshit. Everything is out of warranty in one year except the motor. They never told me that. What a scam! Also found out a majority of the reviews on here are for small items bought in the store. They will give you a discount on your items if you give them a review. So they are buying these reviews. -------------- 06-27- 22 - Bought a new spa from A-Tex Hot Tubs & Pools North Austin. Thought since they have been around for so long i would have no problems from them. Well, think again. They delivered the spa broken. Service had to come out at least 3 to 6 times to fix the same problem, which was the lights were allowing water to leak into the spa and then shorting out. Each time they came out to fix the lights, they tore out my foam insulation. One time they left a screwdriver in my spa, which rusted the tub bottom. Then when they couldn't fix the spa, they gave me a huge run around about replacing the spa. Told me we had to exhaust all the avenues through their service center before they could put a claim in to Dimension One Spas. All this took 6 months before a new spa was delivered. Delivered new spa and had no chemicals to set the spa up. Told me to drive to the north austin location and get them myself. Also told me they would provide me a "sorry you're having problems with your spa" package. Never got it. They just don't care about you at all. Once they have your money, out of sight out of mind. Don't waste your time with this company. The only good thing about them is the service department, and they don't even own the service department. The service department was always ready to help. A-Tex was always ready to not help. I’ve attached pics of what they did to my spa and told me this is normal. And since the new spa has arrived, A-Tex has not once called me to see if everything is alright with the new one. ——

The people make the difference. It's that simple. Chris, Tammy & Wulfe (sp?). Examples of why it's about "the people". Never felt like I was being up sold. I was listened to, took seriously, even though I knew only a small amount of what I needed to. When I said i wanted to spend 2/3 of my money on easy maintenance, and 1/3 on aesthetics, the plan they returned with was exactly that. They sold me a slightly smaller, less costly version of the pool I wanted, cause they thought it would be better for the space. (and they were 100% right) When I signed the contract, and they had my money, I heard from them MORE not LESS. (let that sink in) It's 9 months later, when I have a question, no matter how big or small, I have an answer usually the same day, if not in just a couple of hours. And let me be clear, the process isn't 100% easy. Construction/installation NEVER is on any project of this size. But when we hit the small hiccups, I never once worried that it wouldn't be taken care of. You can't pay enough for that kind of "mental peace". So yes, they are the only place to get Doughboy pools (all my research pointed to them), and they have GREAT spas to choose from. But they make sure what you get, is what you will need/enjoy/be the right fit. They are in it for the "long run", not to make a quick buck. And they are in it WITH us for the long haul! The pic will look better this summer! :)

A fantastic company, Roy-salesman, and Wolf-delivery guy. I highly recommend if interested in swimspas! As I haven't moved to my retirement property full-time, I decided to build a barn and place the swimspa inside. This provides security and will allow me to swim during rain and cold temps. I have beautiful sunset views.

Terrible service, and lies. My elderly mother went in to purchase a new filter system for our pool. We paid over $700 and were told it would be there in 4 weeks, it had to be ordered from the manufacturer. After 4 weeks I called and went by a few times to get updates on where our product is. After a few days of being told it's still not there but should be any day now, I called frustrated and requested they call and find out exactly when it would be there. My pool has been down for almost 2 months waiting. I finally get a call back from the manager who informed the system that was ordered is actually on backorder and no longer in production. How did they not know this when I paid them in the beginning and it was " ordered ". I'm in the automotive industry, and when we order a part from a manufacturer, we know that it's not actually available for purchase at that time. I was told that in the pool world it doesn't work that way, and they just take your money and hope something shows up ... I asked if there is a new version or something I could buy that would work for me. I was told no. So I asked for a refund and was then told I can have store credit and I can purchase a system that they have in stock that will work. That they had the entire time this annoying situation was going on. I was so fed up by this, my pool I purchased from them, and paid their " contractors " for shotty repair work, ( but that's another issue ) was unusable the entire summer. After refusing to spend any money with them, they offered to refund the remaining after I purchased the system from them. I want a complete refund at this point not store credit. I don't want to give any more money to them after this and being treated terribly. I feel like they took advantage of my elderly mother, and over charged her for something that doesn't exist, ruining the summer, and refusing to give us the money back so I can purchase the filter...

Update: 12/27/2023 - Google Reviews doesn't let me reply to the Owner's response so I'll just keep track in the original review. One month after dropping off the Dolphin and still haven't heard back via phone call or email regarding the status. To be fair, their voicemail says they are closed until January 3rd.

Update: 11/26/2023 Don't trust any guarantees or warranties they give you here. August of this year, I went out to get advice on a pool filtration system and I bought it. Took it to my pool and realized it was more than I needed. I brought the filtration system back the next day,---completely unopened---and they said they would only do store credit. I planned on continuing to do business with them, so I accepted without any fuss. I also purchased one of their Dolphin Active 10 units. They said I had a 6 month warranty and if I had any troubles to just bring it back to them and they would take care of it....

So about a month later, the Active10 stops working. I try cleaning it and disassembling it looking for clogs and I still can't get it to run. I finally got around to bringing it in for repair yesterday (3 months after purchase), and

found out what they mean by "take care of it". They mean they'll happily charge you just to diagnose it (and probably to repair it). I asked if they could just use my store credit, they said no it was a separate operation. They're currently diagnosing it, but if this is how they choose to handle relatively small purchases, ----imagine if you try to buy something big from them and then you need to use your guarantees/warranties because the item is defective.

Anyway, I'll post again once I hear back from them about how they...
