Lost one star because it's a theatre with no concession or vending machines. Our show was 3 hours long and we could have nothing to drink. It could have been a little cooler and the bathrooms are also quite inadequate. The lines were so long i imagine people used their empty cups... but the show was lovely, i can't believe these amazing folks are students! I haven't seen better ever before

Great time had by all the different high schoolers (and middle schoolers) at the evening concert/performance but the parking was ridiculous! We found parking out along the street (it was after 7pm on a weeknight and no one was there (no students, no other functions, nothing important going on) and we got a ticket from U.T. close to our 10pm exit time. Now granted it was late and on school grounds, I can assume that parking tickets are a way to generate income to the State University, in the form of $20 or so? NO, that is not the case! All the parents from outer regions (Round Rock, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, etc) all were parked out there along the road and we ALL (over 30 cars that I could see) were ticketed $75 !! Now, if the tickets were $15-$25, then I wouldn't be too shocked but 3x that amount? Are you insane? I will be sure to share my story with all my high school and college students, to avoid going downtown and attending U.T. related functions at any time. It's just not worth the back stabbing costs, when A&M, Texas State Univ, Texas Tech has plenty of parking (lower costs on parking "tickets") and are Tier 1 Research Universities as well. I find the massive price gouging to be such an insult to everyone that attended tonight's musical performance. I think my teaching this problem to students for 40 more years, might just save them quite a bit of money over...

I have come to many concerts here and the musicians are always full professional level!! Ive seen the jazz wind and symphony!! Unfortunately because of the metro bus I am coming a bit less because it takes a really long time. I must say the symphony played extra well tonight even though every show is always amazing!!! the Beethoven just kept going!! These shows are really amazing and really great musicians I highly recommend it!! Hopefully there can be more bus as i often end up having to wait 20 min after the shows!!

I've really enjoyed pretty much every concert I've come too!! It would be great but it's a little long to have some more education around the piece they play or maybe online!! Also I'd love to see them do requiem for a dream Mozart! Thanks for such high...

The performance of the University of Texas Symphony Orchestra last night was absolutely amazing. With the exception of one particular concert in Germany , I have never heard anything better, and I have 85+ years of music experience. It was obvious that Gerhardt Zimmermann was leading one of the major orchestrations of his lifetime. Thanks to everyone concerned with last night's Symphony No. 5 (1902) of Gustav Mahler. Thank you, thank you and thank you. I...
