I’ve been going here for the past three months getting about two 50 min stretches per week with Joey. He is top notch. He knows his anatomy and puts his personal trainer experience to work to create personalized stretching programs that are fantastic. As a result of working with Joey my flexibility has improved significantly and the pain that I was experiencing at the start has virtually disappeared.
I did have one bump in the road working with the management related to my billing. They have a very strict policy requiring you to cancel 31 days before the next billing date. In my initial conversation with them indicating that I did not want another month once I saw I was billed for one they were not willing to budge on this policy, stating that they had to “follow protocol” and they were unable to offer me a refund. It required escalating the dispute to their VP of operations to get a refund which seems ludacris. This particular event wasn’t a great customer experience but in the end they did provide a full refund. One recommendation to StretchLab ownership would be to send an email, or better yet, a text message to customers prior to their monthly renewal with an option to cancel or change their membership. Another option would also be to be more flexible with your customers when they indicate that they no longer want to be on a monthly renewal.
Again, Joey ROCKS, so if your going to go here make sure to...

Extremely disappointing experience with StretchLab Lamar. This review is meant to warn others about their shady practices and charges for work not delivered. I have repeatedly been charged for a membership I instructed their team to cancel, and refund requests have been denied.
This location's policy seems to be to lure you in, promise to allow you to stop membership as soon as you please, and then make it as complicated as possible to cancel when you decide you stop visiting. They follow a playbook to gain access to your credit card info, lock you in, and then stonewall you to keep extracting money from your account. Every 3 months I see a charge show up on my Amex, I then need to converse for hours to have the charge reversed. When I ask to be removed, membership canceled, and credit card info deleted, they confirm, but sure enough, three months onward the charges will reappear, with a new "store manager" to interact with.
It's clear that team members are instructed to prevent subscription cancellations (through false promises if needed). This reflects a systemic problem within the company.
Even if you are able to avoid signing on for a paid set of sessions, be aware that they never once delivered against agreement. They cut sessions short - pay for 25 minutes, stop work at 20, pay for 50, stop at 40.
Save yourself the trouble....
Read moreI'm a hairstylist so use my body constantly during the work week. I was skeptical but seeking relief and needed an intro into bodywork and their first time price was a deal so I signed up because what did I have to lose? I was paired with Lo. Lo is awesome and we get along. He is knowledgeable and I am always learning something new about the human body while working with him. After the first session I was impressed with the results as I hadn't felt that good in a long time so I signed up for the three month package at once a week. When Lo was out for a bit I worked with three other flexologists and they were awesome as well! Amanda, Robert and AJ were all awesome and it's cool to know that if Lo is out I can trust other people with my care. They give out homework in order to continue progress at home and never make me feel guilty if I didn't get to it that week but praise me when I do. I've now been attending once a week for 4 months and I feel great. I pair this with massage and home stretching and have been feeling great and confident. I tell all of my coworkers and friends that they should give it a shot because they have all seen a noticable change in my attitude. I highly suggest giving Stretch Lab on South Lamar a try because while the price for membership can be a bit daunting it is totally worth it to...
