The UPS Store — Attraction in Austin

I’m going to be avoiding these family owned locations from now on you won’t understand until you have spent money on anything other than shipping at a corporate owned location.

The people that own it are very nice but god are they marking up their prices compared to corporate locations I spent 3 dollers at a corporate owned store and at her store for less prints and way worse quality and time I spent over 20 dollers they also track computer time with a credit card reader attached to it which those machines are not good for credit card security and the computer itself is old and slow but that credit card reader works very well lol overall the lady was nice but if they can revisit their pricing and maby upgrade the equipment just a little bit then it’s a fine location but for now I’m avoiding all these family owned locations.

I understand having to sustain but that’s just crazy price mark ups for side services where even their corporate said it was a bit too high...

I frequently take any Amazon returns to this UPS store and occasionally mail packages there. This afternoon, shortly after 5pm, I stopped there to send an Amazon return. The store had closed for the day, so finding the door locked, I returned to my car. As I got in my car, a gentleman approached and said he was the store’s owner and wondered if he could help me. I explained that I would return during business hours. He said he didn’t mind helping me, so he parked his car and reopened his store to assist me. I’m sure he was ready to go home after the long day, but I was so impressed with his kindness. I wouldn’t have minded coming back at another time, but his willingness to go out of his way to help, made a huge impression on me. From now on, I’ll take my business to his store. And, I’ll remember to pay his kindness forward....

I come to this location often to mail out things, and I like this place because it’s easy and affordable. Most of the employees are great, except for ‘Miss Green’. Now, everyone has bad days, I get it. But every single time I come in, I’m disappointed when I have to interact with her. She seems moody and not very friendly. The other girl, and the long haired gentleman are my favorite to work with - they’re always very friendly and nice. I love seeing them. But I feel like I’m always bothering Miss Green, she has an attitude that has made me consider looking for another store.

Edit: Since my review, I haven’t seen Miss Green in store and it’s honestly made my experiences much better, so I bumped it up a star. It really does make a difference when the staff is pleasant, I no longer worry about going...
