As a former resident of two years, here’s my experience living at the Vineyard
Management: Maybe it was just me but I have seriously never had a problem with management, yes the part about the phones not being answered it true but I’ve noticed that for most apartment complexes…usually if I couldn’t get ahold of them I drove over there on my one or two days I had off and spoke to them in person if there was a problem. They have always been super friendly and kind even when I was having some personal issues for awhile and always seems like they actually cared.
Property: inside the complexes are beautiful, new furnishings, beautiful wood floors, etc. Outside however looks absolutely terrible, the floor coming into the apartment were pretty gross, trash on the floor, open beer bottles cans on the window sill, it smelled HORRIBLE in the summer heat when people’s trash would still sit outside of the complex…the gates unfortunately didn’t work a lot when I first moved it but eventually it seemed like they would work but then stop working again.
When I first moved in I had packages that could be kept for days (literally had packages delivered and kept at me door for four days when I was out of town) and never was it stolen but eventually that’s wasn’t case I would be in my apartment and people would still take packages off my doorstep, they would still allergy medicine, hair care products, medicine…eventually it got so bad that I just started shipping stuff to my boyfriends house. Management did understand the issue and tried to use a package delivery service but it didn’ shift hours like I did.
As a female who lived alone when I lived there I felt safe when I first moved in but closer to the end of my lease I didn’t feel safe walking back to my apartment there would be people outside my building I never saw before and I like watch me all the time especially when I got off work at 12 am or later.
Amenities: I never actually used any of the amenities I was working about a lot when I lived there so i can’t speak on those, I used the pool once.
Parking: was really terrible, parking spaces were pretty tight, and to make matters worse people would park over two spaces just so you can’t park next to them I had a little car and would squeeze in anyways but I would be door to door sometimes and I’m sure my car door got hit a lot
Distance: your right next to I-35 so you can’t get to anything but unfortunately with I-35 road work it was always road closures, terribly traffic getting home and detours.
Overall, I didn’t hate living here and at times loved it there but it wasn’t terrible I just wouldn’t have renewed my lease because of the security issue. Nothing to do with the apartment...

These new reviews are all false. Please listen to those who have rated the complex 1 star. There is a reason why this place is one to avoid.

Haven't updated my review because of my fear of backlash from management but I'm so happy to be out of this place. This place is run by the most incompetent people in the industry. As mentioned before, this place was great until Avenue 5 came along and started hiring people with no people skills, responsibility, or common sense. Fridge issues were common, the gates were disastrous and broken for months, the front office never answers the phone, and the employees have no idea how to handle residents. Doors were always broken, the floors were always dirty, the trash service company they hired were just as bad.
During my move out, they charged me $300+ in damages to my carpet which is insane if you search on Google for carpet repair services. As I don't have any clear recollection of $300 worth of damage, I called the office multiple times asking for photographic evidence of the damage. I moved out June 1st. It's been two weeks and I have yet to receive anything. They have the audacity to charge me for damages, yet they can't even fix their own doors (image attached). Overall, if you're thinking of living here, please, please don't. Look at the properties around or even live further, but anything is better than living at a place ran by slow and incoherent morons.
10/22/2021 While I initially gave this location 5 stars when owned by Lincoln, the new management has flipped this apartment complex upside down. Over the course of 3 months, my fridge has needed maintenance more than twice and while I understand the fridge is "under warranty", nothing is done to alleviate the annoyance that is having to waste money throwing away food because the refrigerator won't work. My maintenance requests have been left open more than a week at a time and nothing has been done (to this day) about this issue.
I've called the front office voicing my concerns and they mention that they'll get back to me but fail to do so. Overall, I've only been here several months and I'm already looking forward to move-out. While I respect maintenance and the time they take to evaluate residents' requests, management needs to do a better job at taking care of the complex and...
Read moreGoing on 3 years here. Overall it’s been a good experience and I enjoy living here although there have beefrustrating evenThey’re on their 3rd owners/management company in the 3 years they’ve been open.. not sure what has changed because they keep the same snooty office staff that everyone complains about. Matt is the only staff member who is actually helpful, personable and caring. The tall girl everyone has mentioned in the reviews makes you feel like you’re bothering her. She should not be in the front office or giving tours as she is stone faced and not welcoming. I’m sure she’s a nice person but I’m surprised she’s still here with all the complaints.
They punish all tenants and close the pool frequently due to the same rowdy crowd instead of approaching this specific crowd and fining them like they promise in their emails. I’m sick of the pool being closed due to people I don’t even know being inappropriate. Most of the tenants moved here because of the amenities, especially the pool and we shouldn’t be punished because of one specific crowd.
They NEVER answer the phone.
We have Amazon lockers which worked amazingly but the new owners have tacked on $20 to our rent without consent or option to opt out to use Fetch, which we have to add our credit card on file with them and potentially be charged by them to. Extremely frustrating. Now we have useless lockers that were once very convenient.
A man got beaten by the pool last summer to the point where he was unconscious and taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The cops came to take reports and the apartment complex never acknowledged it or sent a simple email letting us know something major happened where we live.
Pros: Matt is awesome. The coffee machine has the best cappuccino I’ve ever had.. although I wish they provided to-go cups. The property is beautiful. The location is perfect, we’re close to everything. There’s a pond in the back that has a nice trail with dog parks. I’ve met some pretty great people here. They have food trucks and have added events which is fun.
I would overall recommend living here in hopes that the new owners/management can improve...
